About us
Located in The Heights since 1946, Howard Safe & Lock has been a leader in the security industry serving the Greater Houston and surrounding areas ever since. Originally known as Howards Key and Bicycle. Uncle Howard Yetter opened the doors and as the name suggests, began locksmithing and repairing bicycles. Nephew Roy Yetter, began working part time for his Uncle at an early age, repairing lawnmowers. In the mid seventies, the company began to focus strictly on locksmithing and safe services and changed the name to Howard Safe and Lock Co. The business continued to blossom, and Roy eventually purchased the business from his Uncle back in the nineteen-eighties. The services offered have grown to include Alarm Installations, Camera Installations and Access Control. In May of 2015 Danco Security and Lock, LLC purchased the assets of the company. Roy Yetter continues to work as The Qualified Manager. His reputation in the industry and community is unsurpassed. SERVICE AREA IS DETERMINED BY THE SIZE OF THE JOB.
