Not well. Windows not to code. Multiple windows missing springs which allow you to open. Owner out of town when called. Springs not on hand as these were custom windows. These were knowingly installed with no springs. I wanted to open all windows to air out a/c vents due to a covid scare. No such luck. I feel suckered. Also covid precaution video is crap. Workers had masks around necks. Sales lady (unmasked) said 98% of work done outside. Wrong. In house all day. I would not have installed now had I known the truth. Do your homework. I didnt. Suckered. Over priced also.

The team did an outstanding job. For just two windows it was a lot more than I wanted to do, but it was what needed to be done to address leakage issues that have plagued us for years. Patty was incredibly responsive, knowledgeable, and patient throughout the sales process. Once we were ready to move forward, Jeremy came out and did a great job taking a look at our situation, and providing honest, helpful advice on the best solution to ensure our satisfaction. Finally, Sammie and his crew did a great job with the windows and the siding. We actually had all of this work done a couple of months ago. While everything about the house and windows looked great, it wasn't until we got a really strong thunderstorm a week or so ago that my wife and I realized just how happy we were with the new windows. No leaks when the wind blew the rain up against the house and the windows! For the first time in years we were actually able to enjoy a good southern thunderstorm without worry. Thanks to the whole team at HWE for everything. I hope to have them back sometime next year to do the rest of the house. I would recommend the HWE team to anyone and everyone.

Houston Window Experts exceeded my expectations. I was dreading having to find a window company that I could trust. Everyone I spoke to was kind and friendly. Wasn't pushy, didn't send me 5 text/emails a day or call me every hour. Josh was friendly and very knowledgeable. Even told me he wasn't 100% the issue I was having was necessarily a window issue and advised me to look into other issues that might be the cause of my leaky windows. I was surprised and appreciative of his honesty. After weeks/months of meeting with different contractors re: my leaky windows. I found out that it was a combination of issues and replacing the window would help. Scheduled a window install, crew arrived early. They were courteous and covered my floor and furniture. They worked throughout the morning. The new window is so crystal clear you can't even tell I have a window! Left the inside of the house clean. You really get what you pay for. The quality of the windows and the people who work for The Houston Window Experts are really well worth every dollar and more.

Josh answered all questions prior to our deciding to choose their company. He was very helpful and knowledgeable. The installers were professionals. Another company offered a lower estimate but their representative was not nearly as helpful or professional and could not assure professional installation. Thus far, it seems the extra money was worth it. We are pleased with our new windows.

From the 1st meeting through the window & door installation, everything went smoothly. The initial appointment to review and discuss the products through the ordering were great. They met me on my schedule. The range of product is wonderful as well and fit many budgets. The installation was well done and the area of work left clean. I was treated with respect and my questions were answered promptly. After installation, I did call with a concern and Window Experts had someone respond to my concern immediately. My windows were replaced 30 days after I bought them. The team of 5 came to my home with all the windows and they started right away. The process was easy for me, not much dirt or cleanup, the install process was not very loud and I was not inconvenienced at all.

Very professional service. Quality installation. They kept in touch by phone every step of the way and promptly returned all calls. Every step of the process from the estimate to installation was problem free. A supervisor came out on day of installation to answer any questions we had. Even got a follow up email from owner of the company later in the evening to thank us for our business and ask if we had any questions or concerns. The crew arrived on time and were in and out three hours. Service is more than 5 stars.

After discussing with Josh, the son in the family owned business, I was quickly convinced investing in the wood/fiber glass windows he proposed was a very valuable investment, based on the teaser of windows manufacture and the sample Josh showed me. But choosing the stuff and proved to be the easy part of the project. In order to keep the look of house as close as could be from the original look, I wanted the new windows to be installed "brick to brick" figure out how to install the windows "brick to brick" (removing the old frame and putting the windows between bricks) rather than in the older frame, hence keeping the maximum of glass, etc...in order to address that, Josh came back a couple of times with one of his experts, Jeremy to figure out how to do that (the **** being in the details!). After a couple of months to have all the windows tailor-made, Windows Experts' crew took 3 days to install the windows. The team was outstanding as regards the service and the quality. The Crew Manager, "Captain" (super gifted with his tools and hands), Jeremy (technically super impressive) and Josh (born in a Windows Family) worked as a real team and at the end of the day their work exceeded my highest expectation: despite all the difficulties faced when progressing with the old structure of the house, they succeeded with an incredible precision, all the windows fitting between the bricks at less than 1/16 of an inch! in term of look, the outcome is even better than the original. As the windows of an house I bought as an investment need also to be changed...I already engaged them for this second project. My opinion about Windows Experts : fantastic people, fantastic Service, outstanding work quality, amazing choice of products. They deserve their fantastic reputation.

The sales manager did a good job of explaining the type of window that would be installed and how it would be installed. All questions were answered thoroughly to the customer's satisfaction. A quote was provided and compared to other quotes and found to be a bit on the higher side. The manager agreed to work on the price but stated that their quality of work was professional. After seeing the results, I agree, they did a great job and were worth the extra cost. One of the new windows measures ~6' x 7' a provides a great open view of the backyard. The installation of this large window appears professional. The installation crew worked efficiently, as quietly as possible, and respectfully of the property and owner. The installation manager overseeing the crew was on top of the job and attentive to customer questions. My impression is this company is professional with people at the helm that are also sharp, a strong combination.

Jeff and his team did a fabulous job! Jeff came to our home for the initial consultation. He was very professional and trustworthy. It was clear that he didn't simply want to sell to us and sell us something we didn't need. He provided his honest opinion and also addressed any concerns we had. After that first consultation, we knew that we wanted to work with Jeff. We were told the install would occur about 8 weeks after order. It ended up being a few weeks longer than originally estimated due to the flooding that occurred last spring. An opening suddenly came up so we changed our schedule in order to be home for Jeff's team. On install day, a huge storm rolled in but Jeff's team continued to work through the weather (only once they confirmed it was OK with me). They were clean and kept me informed throughout the whole process. We've had a few questions regarding our windows subsequent to the install and Jeff has been very responsive. Overall, great customer service, great workmanship, and I would recommend them to anyone needing new windows.

I first contacted them for window work. After meeting Patty, who was prompt, cheerful, attentive to our needs and budget as well as knowledgeable, I learned these folks could also handle several other facets of our project. That's why we hired them to our siding and gutters. The only thing the couldn't tackle was our garage doors but they passed me to a trusted garage door company who was also a joy to work with. It was pleasure working with Patty (sales) and Jeff (owner). When things go smoothly, its easy to write a good review. When things go a little sideways, its how the contractor recovers and handles the situation that matters. First, here's what went right: Siding, paint, window INSTALLATION and gutters. Their installation team was fast, efficient, solutions-oriented, creative and effective. Here's what was challenging. We went with Milgard Windows as the supplier because we had some special requirements for our house and Milgard's reputation was excellent. The entire project was delayed because the manufacturer was slow to deliver and also delivered incorrectly configured product. That pushed the timeline out. After we got the product, most the window frames had finishing issues (paint overspray and other cosmetic issues). Migard and their field rep (as well as Houston Window Experts) worked to make things right but it took lots of time and pushed completion way out. Again not Houston Window Experts fault but just a data point. I can say that both Houston Window Experts and Milgard did a wonderful job getting things as they should be. They were communicative and re-assuring throughout the process. They saw it through until completion. Would we have liked things to go more smoothly? Sure. Do accidents sometimes happen? Yes they do. But in the end we got the updated house we wanted that exceeded expectations. We would definitely work with Houston Window Experts again. I would even buy Milgard again. These are folks that stand behind their work and products. I would recommend these folks to friends and family.

We heard about Houston Window Experts from our neighbors who had their windows installed by them about a year ago. The owner, Jeff Ludy, came out to the house and sold us on Milgard windows as replacement windows. The warrantee was excellent and the quality was very good for the price (we have over 30 windows), His installer, Jeremy came out and measured the windows. It took about 6 weeks for the order to be completed, but we were told about that up front. I made arrangements with their office to start the installation on 11MAY. Jeremy and his team said they would arrive between 8 and 9 AM and pulled up at about 8:10AM. They were friendly, neat and extremely organized. There was no issue that couldn't be resolved. They covered everything before starting on a window. They worked on one section at a time, so it was less disruptive over the two and a half day installation period. One wooden window sill got damaged when the old window was removed. Jeremy bought new wood and repaired it the next day. It's now good as new. They removed all our blinds and window treatments and reinstalled them exactly as they were. Once the job was done, he told me there were 4 screens that needed replacing and two windows had very slight flaws. He spoke to the office manager and the new replacement glass and screens were ordered on the same afternoon. I cannot speak highly enough about this company. They are honest, professional and delivered what they promised. They did a terrific job and the windows look great!

We solicited bids from this firm based on Angie's List reviews, competitive bids, and personal contact with the sales representatives. We chose this business because of the quality of the product, the warranties offered, and the knowledge of the sales representative.
We ordered Milgard windows. However, they have terrible quality control at the factory, and it took 6 months and 4 attempts to get our original order correct. They just couldn't get the order correct: misplaced grids, misaligned grids, and one replacement order was damaged in transit. It took four tries to finish our house--which took six months given the long turn around from the factory. We hope there is no problem if we have warranty work later on. Sorry, I can't recommend this business.

Made a good initial sales pitch and spent a significant amount of time explaining the installation process. Minimal hard sell and gimmicks during the sales process; in fact, encouraged us to spend less in certain aspects. (That said, not a junk window dealer and definitely focused on mid-to higher end products. Company appears to have a preferred brand or two of window, but will order and install several brands.) Answered, and re-answered several questions during the decision process. Prepared several estimates based on major and minor variations to the order. Always friendly and communicative. Seemed clear to us after spending countless hours researching replacement windows and interacting with approximately 5 local companies that Houston Window experts would give us a high level of installation and overall customer service.
Windows arrived within estimated time of delivery. Installation crew was great; nice guys, obvious attention to detail, punctual, took good care of the house and yard while installing.
Windows look great 24 hours new. We'll see how they perform over time. To date, our experience with Houston Windows Experts has been rock solid.

During the research phase, we were always given thorough information about all the trade-offs one has to make when picking a brand, materials, and features. There was never any bad mouthing the competition or high pressure. Quotes were clear and turned around quickly.
Once the decision was made, tracking the status of our order was painless.
All I can say about the install crew is ... amazing. We have a stucco house and were concerned about how much damage would be occur during window removal. In our case, with ~ 30 large windows, we didn't have damage. The crew was friendly, professional, and efficient.
In conclusion, I simply can't think of how we could have had a better experience. My wife and I wholeheartedly recommend this company.
