The technician arrived on time - pulled the fridge away from the wall and within about 7 minutes told me it was my water inlet valve and tha it was going to cost $235 to fix it.
As I stated - I was stupid and ignored my inner voice and went ahead with the repairs. After he left, I quickly searched the internet and YouTube and discovered that the part, at most, should have cost $35.00 and considering it took him 20 minutes to fix it, labor should not have been $200.
This is simply a warning to consumers - get at least two estimates - do your internet research and see if you can make the repairs yourself.
