Very poorly. First they took much longer to install and the install was a mess. Wires everywhere, not well organized. Then I had a series of issues with things not working which often their techs could not fix. Ultimately they told me they no longer service the remote systems they installed and I needed to buy something else but when I asked for a proposal on that , twice, they never responded. I've managed to fix some of this myself and am now looking for a new provider. They are just not competent or professional.

couldn't help me - can only recommend complete re-install using their equipment. Didn't want to work on equipment I currently own. They were nice, but couldn't help me.

Leo the technician called me in advance to let me know when he would be arriving at my home. He was professional and knowledgeable about the products that are offered by Houston Custom Installers. He mounted the tv to the wall and then programmed my remote and cleaned the work area. I would definitely recommend Houston Custom Installers to anyone needing to mount their televisions to a wall, fireplace, etc.

Job was very professionally done. Leo and Felix worked well as a team, got the TV up and cleaned up. Great guys to wrk with. This was a great experience from the office staff we dealt with to completion.

A complete rip off for a half-baked job. My receiver and blu-ray player came back from repairs (they got affected by a power surge during the recent thunderstorms), and I needed them to be hooked back up to the existing speaker system and an overhead projector. Except for these two components, all other components and cables were already installed and in working condition. They hooked up the two components and didn't touch the projector. When I checked the video, it obviously was not calibrated. They said its outside the work order and it would cost me an additional $150, after I had already paid $199. Ridiculously expensive to connect two components to an existing system without ensuring that it's working well. When I called their office, I was told that the field team did exactly what the receptionist jotted down as the needed service ("AV setup/installation").. Well, I am surprised their definition of "AV setup/installation" doesn't include a working setup. Some service!

The entire experience was very well managed. I sent them an e-mail through Angie's List to tell them what I wanted. We communicated by e-mail and phone and I sent pictures of the various TV locations to help with their estimates. They were easy to talk with and were always interested in making sure they understood how I wanted everything to look and work. I received an estimate via e-mail which I approved, and they explained to me that they would call the day before the install to get payment (credit card, over the phone) for the physical materials (brackets, mounts, shelves). The appointment was scheduled, and they gave me a 2 hour arrival time window. Then the day of the install, they called several hours in advance to let me know a more accurate time of arrival. The 2 man team called to give me 20 minutes' notice before they arrived. They were very professional, and had me walk them through everything I wanted done. Their written orders didn't exactly match what I wanted, and they realized there was a better way to accomplish my goals. They explained it to me, wrote up a new estimate, which I approved, and they got to work. They had very few questions and did their work quietly. When they were finished they had me check each TV to be sure it was working the way I expected and they told me what they did and why. They went over the estimate again, and we deducted what I had already paid for the materials (since some of the materials changed), and I paid by credit card on the spot. The final total, even with the changes, was within $50 of the original estimate, so I was happy. Highly recommend - their scheduling / office staff is conscientious and knowledgeable, which really made the whole experience pretty seamless.

He charged me an additional $30 or $40 for it. It turned out to be great. It was professionally installed and delivered exactly at the time they promised. Mr. Milano was kind, courteous, extremely helpful and did exactly what I hired him to do.

Overall, the service provided was great.  There was a hiccup with scheduling -- I called on a weekday to make an appointment and was scheduled for a service window on Saturday of the same week, which was my preference.  On the day of service, I remained at home in order to receive the technician; however, as the window was about to close, I still had not heard from the company.  I called and was told that somehow the appointment time was not saved in the system.  The company immediately corrected the error and they were able to get a technician over to mount the television within an hour.  The installation was seamless and I was very satisfied with their work.  I later had another television to be mounted and called the service back.  Would definitely recommend.

I Called in the morning for appointment. They came out the same day. Very professional, neat, knowledgeable and very nice. Extremely impressed with service.  I highly recommend!
