Honey Do List Services

It took a while to get the whole job done. Had to call a few times to see why it wasn't complete yet. They only did half the job originally requested but they adjusted their price accordingly.

It went great!

The handymen were here about 10 min after the appointment time, which worked out perfect as I was still feeding my dogs at the appointment time. They measured the walls, measured my items, held them to the wall where they were going to hang them to ensure I liked the way it looked, and were VERY professional and courteous! I would absolutely hire these guys again! It was $45/per hanging so my total wound up being $90 since the guys were so close travel wasn't a charge (not sure if it normally is) Highly recommend!

He works very quickly and the work is top notch. He is much more than a handyman and very capable of handling everything I've thrown at him.

I have used Honey Do for years and they are my go to helpers. As a widow I rely upon Fred and his team for everything. They have done things such as repair a giant racoon hole in the side of my house (when they were finished I couldn't even see where it had been) to assembling my new gas grill. I have a long list of things for them to do and I call as each item comes up. I wholeheartedly recommend them. They are courteous, professional gentlemen and their estimates are always correct and very reasonable. The next time you need a household fixer, give your hubby a rest and call these guys. They'll probably do a better job anyway and they'll do it on time.

Roberto was the contractor with Honey Do Services for our area.  He was awesome at response time from the very beginning.  Very professional and courteous.  The work took a little longer but some projects were worse than expected and the heat was extreme. They were good to clean up each day and were always on time to begin each day.  The gentleman who did our rock work was one of the best I've ever seen.  All in all we were very pleased with Roberto and would use him again!!

Taylor was very prompt and was able to do all of the work as requested. We hired him to mount our TVs and he was able to help us with our blinds and some other odds and ends as well! We have used his handyman services in the past and will continue to call him in the future.

Taylor is absolutely AMAZING!!! He has been handling basically any and all repairs and updates that my family has had in our home for the past three years. He is professional, punctual, friendly, reasonably priced, and there is no job that I have put in front of him that he hasn't performed beautifully. He has hung artwork/paintings, installed all our window treatments, installed our ceiling fans, chandeliers, done all electrical work, masterfully painted our kids bedrooms, and put together furniture such as my son's crib. Whenever I have a repair, replacement, or any handyman job Taylor is my FIRST and ONLY call. I don't know what I would have done if I hadn't made that initial call to Honey Do List Services and met Taylor because he has come through for me and my family and made our house feel like a home. I am thankful for the work he has done thus far and our future projects in the near future!

I have been using honey Do List Services for 18 months for several different projects. Taylor is very professional. He takes pride in his work and makes sure that it is to the customers satisfaction. He is very honest and trustworthy and I have referred him to several friends and family.

Work is always well done, professional and perfect.  Brings his own tools and necessary supplies to do the job.  Very on task and targeted while on the job.  Friendly, honest and thorough.  I have had him do about 10 different jobs at my house; built shelves in the garage which are really strong.  Installed counter top in the office.  hang pictures, change out shower heads, plumbing, etc.  Does it all!

interested in them only refinishing the front door and to find out how much they would charge to install a ceiling fan.  They verbally quoted $125 to install a ceiling fan.  I was incredulous!  That was more than I paid for the fan.  Since they were already coming out to do the door, they said they would only charge $85 for the fan and that the door refinishing cost was $325 instead of $375, so my total would be $410.  On the scheduled work day, the worker was approximately 40 minutes late, so not off to a good start.  The door refinishing proceeded smoothly and he actually did a very nice job on the door.  Got a bit nervous with the fan as he first claimed that the light attachment I had wouldn't fit, then seemed confused about how it would be wired.  I could later hear him calling someone about which wires to connect.  Presumably he got it all figured out, because it works (lights come on, fan comes on, doesn't wobble and so far...no fire has started!).  After he left, the office called to collect my credit card information.  They told me I owed $455 as there was an additional charge $45 charge for additional "materials" for the door.  You're kidding!!!  First of all, I was quoted $325 for the door, and even if the stain and topcoat were a separate charge (which it shouldn't be), it certainly wasn't $45 worth.  What a scam.  Very deceptive practice.

I was recommended by Nature's Own Pest Control for them to come out to cover our crawl space vents around the exterior of the home. They came this morning, gave me a quote and had the entire project done by the afternoon. They covered our crawl space with HardiePlank and painted it to match our brick exactly. It looks great, and it's wonderful to have it checked off the to do list.

The entire job was supposed to take 3-4 days to paint the inside of my 1900 sqft home.  What went wrong with Fred's Honey Do List Service? Day one of work his employee showed up late. His employee called me after his appointment time and asked for my address since he did not have it with him.  When he finally showed up I pay him the deposit (around $500), give him a key, ask how long he will be at the house, what time he will arrive the following morning and I leave for work.  Jeremy (the worker) told me he will work until around 4:00p since he has school and he will come back the following morning around 8:30am.  Jeremy did not show up with any supplies to start the job.  No ladder, no paint brushes, nothing.  That day I came home from work around 5:30pm and nothing was painted. The only thing Jeremy did was take off some wall plates.  He used tools from a tool box that I had lying on the kitchen counter.  Day two I leave for work around 7:30am expecting the guy to show up around 8ish.  Again, I come home around 5:30pm and Jeremy didn't even show up that day.  I called Fred (the owner of the company) and instead of telling him Jeremy did not show up I asked him when they would be finished painting my home (ETA was 3-4 days and we already lost 2).  He told me that he had a crew working on my house at that very moment and they should finish within a day.  I asked Fred which house are they at because I was standing in my home and nobody was there nor was anything done that day or the day before.  Fred then tells me he will call Jeremy and call me back.  By then my husband and I decided we no longer wanted to use Fred.  My husband called Fred and told him that we are no longer using his company for the paint job.  Fred tried to explain what went wrong saying that the job wasn't supposed to start until Wednesday however, he told me it would start on Tuesday and that was his fault.  He also said that Jeremy was running late (this is Wednesday, day 2) and since he was running late he decided he wasn't going to come out and work on the house.  Needless to say Fred agreed to pay us back the remaining portion of our deposit minus the cost of paint since it was already purchased. Fred said he would drop off the paint within a couple of days along with the deposit and house key. Fred showed up with the paint but no check and no key. Fred said his accountant would mail us the check and key. We trusted his word since we used him in the past and did not experience a problem the last time we used him.  A week passed and no check. We called Fred and get no answer. We left a voicemail and of course did not get a call back.  It's now been two months and we still have not heard back from Fred Merchant.
