HONEY DO HANDYMAN LLC

My whole experience with Honey Do was horrible. They didn't know how to hang the hooks and they tried to glue them to the wall and got glue everywhere and now I have to paint. Then they lied to me about the whole situation. When it came to staining the chairs, they didn't even clean them first they just slapped the stuff on them sloppily. I just had a very bad experience with this company.

We felt it was overpriced but they did a decent job.

Greg subbed out the entire project to a contractor named Bravo. Greg gave the impression he was going to do the work himself. Greg did not supervise the work. The sub-contractors trashed the yard, we cleaned up carpet remnants, wood debris, nails, and even fast food. Drywall installations look terrible, mud and tape spots are obvious from across the room. Shower door had to be reinstalled. Washer did not have the shipping bolts removed and washer destroyed itself on the first load, Lowe's graciously replaced the washer and installed it correctly. Water has leaked in around the French doors in the back of the house; the laminate flooring in the dining room has swelled and is ruined. Greg insists that we now need an awning. While discussing other options with my wife, Greg stormed away shouting, "I'm not dealing with you lady." He has not returned our phone calls. The only things that look professional are the carpeting and kitchen counters; everything else is just sloppy.

BID FOR WORK WAS PRESENTED IN PROFESSIONAL, AND TIMELY MANNER. JUAN AND CREW ARRIVED TO DO THE WORK WHEN PROMISED. WORK WAS PERFORMED TO OUR SATISFACTION, IN TIMELY MANNER.

THE WORK PERFORMED WAS FAST AND SLOPPY. THE WORKERS HAD TO COME OUT MANY TIMES TO RE-DO POOR QUALITY WORK. FOR EXAMPLE, I GAVE SPECIFIC INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW I WANTED MY NEW SHOWER CURTAIN ROD AND CURTAIN INSTALLED. THEY COULD NOT GET IT RIGHT. THE WORKER REMOVED AN OLD VANITY AND REPLACES IT WITH A NEW ONE. THE WALL AREA AROUND THE VANITY WAS LEFT ROUGH AND THE DRYWALL WAS JAGGED. INSTEAD OF SMOOTHING THE WALL OUT THEY JUST PUT THE NEW ONE IN. THEY TRIED TO RE-KEY MY LOCKS AND THEY HAD TO COME BACK OUT AND RE-DO THEM. THE FORMER TENANTS HAD LEFT A GOUGE IN THE WALL THAT THE COMPANY WAS TO FIX. INSTEAD OF FILLING IN THE GOUGE ALL THE WORKERS DID WAS SLAP SOME PAINT ON IT. I SPOKE TO THEM ABOUT PUTTING IN A LIGHT. I TOLD THEM THAT I WANTED TO SEE THE PRICES OF THE LIGHTS BEFORE IT WAS INSTALLED. THEY TOOK IT UPON THEMSELVES TO PURCHASE THE LIGHT AND INSTALL IT WITHOUT EVEN LETTING ME KNOW WHAT THE PRICE WAS. THEY JUST SENT ME A BILL FOR IT. I CALLED THE OWNER OF THE COMPANY, BUT HE WOULD

THEY SAID THEY WOULD CALL BACK AFTER LUNCH. IT HAS BEEN 4 HOURS AND I HAVE NOT HEARD BACK FROM THEM.

GREG HAS DONE WORK FOR ME ON AND OFF FOR OVER A YEAR. HE'S ALWAYS RESPONSIVE, PROMPT AND HIS FEES ARE REASONABLE. THE PEOPLE HE SENDS ARE ALWAYS GOOD, AS WELL.
