We've been customers of Home Team Pest Defense because our home was set up with the TAEXX systems, and apparently it's the only company in Wells Branch Parkway in Austin that can hook up to it. Their technicians have been mostly professional and courteous. We live in a brownstone property with no yard. They hook up out front to TAEXX system, spray around the garage doors outside, and the front door and in around the small rock garden that's 7 X 8 ft. The main purpose of the TAEXX is home won't need to be sprayed on the inside, so often, they rarely need to come inside unless you request to have it sprayed inside. Visit is approximately 15-20 min. for $129!! We had an issue when preparing for upcoming move and cancellation of quarterly service. I responded the same day but was told it was too late and all warranties are null and voided. I spoke to Sheryl and requested to have her manager return our call. I never received it.

They are expensive. Their prices are high to me.

It's just been great.  They're good.  They send a professional.  They send out someone in uniform and he comes out in a little van with a company name so I don't have problem noticing them.  I've had them for 6 years.  He does my yard so very nicely.

We had an infestation of wasps under the eaves of the house, over the summer. They said their technicians were trained to handle that, but they really did not know what to do. We really liked our technician, but he just did not know what to do with the wasps. I was very disappointed.

It was great that my house came with Taexx system, which are the tubes built inside the sidings. The professional came and inject the chemicals into the tubes, and it's really quick, just 5 minutes. The only downside is the price; it's 25% higher than other providers, but I have no choice because they are the only one having the key to my Taexx system.

They kind of lack in letting you know that they were going to raise the pricing of their services. I'm not happy and I complained to them about it though the service is very good.

Salesman was good. Thats where the "good" ended. Attempted to hire because former owner used them for termite control. Signed up for not only termite control but general pest control. Whenever I called I had to leave a message. call backs are rare. Think only once out of 4-5 calls.
First service date we arranged a "first thing in the am" service. We had to be home. We sat at home from 8-11. Finally at 11 we left. Guy calls us at 1120 and says he is on his way. 11:20 is first thing in the AM?
I call both the company main number (voicemail) and the tech (voicemail). Neither call me back.
Two days later a guy calls and says that he talked to my wife and that it was scheduled for tomorrow am. Never happened. Both me and my wife had an appt together the next am and werent available. My wife actually told him that she was not available for the rest of the week and it would need to be next week.
We have not heard from them since. That was over a week ago. a couple additional messages left.
Today I get a call from the scheduling people to come out out and upgrade and replace Sentricon stations that are "old". No mention of general pest control.

I did research (through Angie's list) and through word of mouth, and found out they were the best in the area.  Our last appointments were on time, the staff was extremely professional, and treated a specific area in the house that I had noticed some "activity" without question.  They told me they were usually the guys who did our route, so I hope to establish a "relationship" with them as we continue service with Home Team.  They told me that they usually were able to get out for repeat treatments should the need arise within 24-48 hours and would do their best to work with our schedule whenever possible.  So, without a lot of history, I have been pleased so far.

This company teamed up with our builder to provide services to the neighborhood via outdoor ports etc. The area we are in is prone to spiders and is still in development so who knows what else is out there. The services provided seem reasonable compared to other services I have used in the past.

Home Team is always professional and polite.  If I ever need a retreatment, they are glad to come out again for free.  Highly recommended.

I pay $950 for a 2-year contract; I feel the pricing is adequate for the service. They are very thorough and do a great job.

They are very good and call me ahead of time to let me know what is going on. I have called them a couple of times asking about different kinds of products and they have been pretty informative about that. They have been very flexible in allowing me to send my check through my on-line banking which I thought was really helpful. They provide regular service and have done so for years. I am not always here but when I have been here the folks doing the work have been polite, courteous and let me know they were on the property. They call me in advance to let me know they are coming and on the very few times I have seen an insect in the house they have been very prompt in coming out to re-treat as necessary. The do an excellent job and I will use them again in the future.
