H&H landscape design was superior compared to the other two landscape companies that we invited to bid Janet listened to our wishes and preferences and incorporated plants and flowers that have sentimental values for both of us I wanted bougainvillea so they built an overhang over the french door to the back yard so that the bougainvillea can climb over and give us the shade I wished for.  I love Gardenia and Azalea so we have a row of Azalea against the back yard fence in front of the Jasmine and a row of Gardenia in front of a metal trelis frame built for Jasmine and to hide our air conditioning units.  My partner wanted Confederate Jasmine, so they built metal trelis all around the entire side fence and back yard fences to let the Confederate Jasmine climb and flourish.  He wants Texas Roses so we have Texas Yellow and Antique roses on the front yard.  H&H chose a pretty stone slabs which I have forgotten the name to match our house's brick color to build around the water ditch. For ground covering, they put down rosemaries mixed in with Salvia (purple and blue), Lantana (yellow and purple) and Plumbago (blue) in the front yard;  Ginger, variated Ginger, Ferns, and inpatience in the atrium, and so much more that I can't remember all the names. They used contractors that have worked with them for many years for the flagstone construction and irrigation.  The work over all was incredible.  For a focal point in the backyard, they planted a single Bird of Paradise plant and surround it with mondo grass.  I don't recall telling Janet about having lived in Ecuador and fell in love with hummingbirds, but all the plants she and her staff, Jennifer, chose for the back yard are tropical and known to attract hummingbirds.  We have had every at-home meal  since the landscape was done in my back yard!  We sat and talked or simply listened to the different bird calls and tried to associate a bird with each call.  We even spotted a red cardinal the other night when everything was quiet.  Jennifer, the project manager, has been responsive when I call or email her for any issues.  She thanked us for letting her implement all that her imagination takes her and we thanked her for her wonderful creativity and work product. H&H was not the cheapest bidder.  The other contractors gave us bids that are 60-80% cheaper but the quality of designs, and plant selections were simply inferior.  We would be proud to show off our landscape to any one.  The pleasure it gave us every day is worth every penny we spent. 

Initially the plans looked good but the actual usage and placement of plants and their follow up were not satisfactory. I originally agreed to a service contract. After they cut down something that they were not supposed to cut down. Mutually we agreed to discontinue the contract. They are very expensive and not worth the money.

I would not use them.

Design was part success and part failure. Design included these weed like plants with little red things on them that had a very unkempt, overgrown appearance. My maid called them "feo" (ugly). We ripped them out. Ground cover was planted apparently without attention to removal of weeds. We have had a constant struggle with weeds for 1 1/2 years and the weeds are winning. It was hard to get attention to followup items.

The owner of this company is Janet and she is great. She sits down with you beforehand and gets a game plan together on what you would want. I was very pleased with the entire process and the end results.
