Helfman Ford

On 4/18/18 I brought my 2005 F150 to Helfman ford for a diagnosis on an electrical issue. I was able to talk to the technician who was very polite and I was able to explain the issue and let him know what I had already tried. I am a car enthusiast and I usually do all my own repairs but this time I decided to put a little faith in the dealership (which I never do). My truck is a custom build but is factory as far as electrical goes. He agreed to look at it and within the week I received a call saying they found the problem. They told me to replace the FTP sensor and the EGRSM sensor and the issue will be fixed. He left the shorted sensor unplugged as to not cause any more damage and I replaced both parts with OEM Motorcraft parts and the problem was not fixed. I sent an email to the Tech Advisor on 4/30/18 and did not receive a response. I went up to see him on 6/6/18 and he informs me that the Tech no longer works there but he can try and put me in touch with him because he does work on the side. I’ve already paid $300 in diagnostic from this Tech and $370 in parts I didn’t need. I emailed the manager and requested a re-test to find the issue with no additional charge or my money back and they said there is nothing they can do but I'm welcome to bring it back and keep paying them money until they find the issue. Never trusting the dealership again.

I have been satisfied with their service. I would recommend using them and have had no bad experiences with them. The employees were all polite and professional.

It's a one stop shop and they handle everything. The quality of the work was just excellent.

My husband is a very loyal person. He always goes back if he likes. It doesn't matter if he drives extra mile, he'll do it. He likes the service manager out there. He was always been honest with him, so it plays the difference. They charged a lot but they do a good job. They were very thorough.

My experience with them was terrible. I had work done and they told me what was wrong but did not keep the proof to show me what was wrong. It was just a bad experience and they were not very professional at all. I will never use them again.

I go in there and they have all the records of the car. They do all the safety recalls. They have always treated me very friendly. The serviceman always talks to me and he is a really nice guy. I don't get the feeling that he is trying to con me on anything. I do believe whatever he says is always what's wrong. I don't think he is trying to take more money. I have been extraordinarily lucky with this car. The prices are a little high. They know me and I feel like I get treated respectfully. The lad that I talk to always gets me in and out as fast as possible. I appreciate that and that is what I pay a little extra for. It is a little high on price. I can go to one of those oil change place and get it done cheaper but I don't have all day long. I have always been happy with them. They have always done what they said they would do and fixed it. I did have an intermittent problem once and it took a couple of trips over there and finally it acted up there. I went over there and they did it. They always get me right in. I think the regulars are put up on top of the list and I have been going there very often. I have no reason to change them.

The service was fast and the personnel were very friendly. Do go on the Ford website and schedule your maintenance ahead of time. Also they have coupons that give you a lower price for the different services. You can print them out and save on the price of your car maintenance. Overall it was a good experience and I would recommend them for keeping up your car,s maintenance.

THE SALESMEN WERE VERY POLITE. THEY WERE ALSO VERY HELPFUL TO SHOW ME AROUND. THEY TOLD ME IN DETAIL WHAT THE CARS OFFERED.
