STAY AWAY. If I could leave 0 stars I would. I brought a new chandelier to Joel over 6 months ago to install an extension rod. We tested the light out before I dropped it off and it turned on without a problem. A month later he gives me a call to let me know that the light would no longer turn on after he installed the extension but he would be working on getting it operational again. After months of me following up and getting repeated apologies/non-updates, I went by today to get my light so I could take it somewhere that would actually be willing to help their customer. He had the audacity to try to charge me for the extension. I’m worse off now than I was before I put my new chandelier in Joel’s care. Buyer beware I suppose. If you’re looking for somewhere to repair or modify your fixture or lamp, find some place else that values their customers.

good, except they were busy and had people on vacation and so the repairs took longer than initially indicated.

Don Keck is the owner and also who I worked with. He had a lot of good recommendations on what lights to use. He really helped me to decifer between all the options. He was very responsive whenever I called with various requests and hand delivered a lot of the items.

I ordered the fixture and then returned the next day for pick up. The day of installation (about 30 days later), the electrician advised me that the part needed to hang the fixture was not in the box. I called the establishment and talked with the manager. He called the electrician directly and made the decision to drive to my home to assess the problem. He went back to their shop, picked up the right part and took it back to my home. I have never had service like that. They aim to please the customer. Things are going to happen; but I sure like the fact that Heights Lights and Things stand behind their products and go beyond the call to protect their reputation.
