Terrible, first rain storm I noticed water pouring over a long run of gutter off back porch. After weeks of intense heat noticed the bend getting worse. Called and sent photos of the issue and immediately dismissed saying it was damaged by a tree limb, or that I hung something on my gutter! After arguing with GM Dani and customer service, there was no effort to investigate or help repair, even after I offered to purchase the lifetime warranty package. Bottom line, you can find a more reputable company, that treats its customers better , and with a better quality gutter. Stay away!

Buyer beware of this potential significant waste of time! Long story short: the only thing Berger Home Services followed through on was showing up and responding to sell me the contract. They failed to have it installed within two weeks, to call me back within a day each of the 8-9 times I called in, to even show up the installation day or even call me to tell me they wouldn’t be coming. I finally got in touch with a manager Deanna (not sure of spelling) at 4:45 the day of scheduled installation. Only at this point did they discover they had written my number down wrong on the contract (I did miss that too). This was despite me verifying my number each time I called in and their caller ID apparently recognizing my #. She claimed one of their vehicles broke down causing the no show and did attempt to reschedule for Saturday. As I was departing mid-day, only a morning appointment was acceptable but Deanna would not accommodate. Given their failures, was not going to risk taking off another day. The only positive in this whole waste of time was Berger Home Services did agree to refund my down payment. Most disappointing: one would think that being in business for 17 years would give them a better idea of how to schedule their customers. As a result I wasted over three weeks in attempting to work with them.

BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE! Before you sign with this company, they have a $300.00 cancellation fee! I cancelled because I was offered a great deal and the gutters would be installed within a week! That they did! Not the 6 to 8 weeks this group offered! Cancellation Fee! That should be your first clue as to NOT do business with this company. If you make the mistake like I did be prepared to get a upcharge on your cancellation fee! I got a bill from these CRIMINALS wanting to charge me $500.00 cancellation fee and $15.00 bank charge! Not a good company to do business with under any circumstances! There are a lot of honest companies out there, Berger Home Services is not one of them! Wish I would have read the reviews more closely!

I had them out nearly 4 weeks ago for a quote. Agreed to have them do it. Quickly I got an email to pay a deposit, which I did. I was told I would be contacted by the scheduling department. I was never contacted. Called 5 times, each time they said they would get back to me. They have NEVER called. Instead, they keep sending me text messages that say they will get to us. NOT 1 call or estimated date for service.

When the work was initially completed, I wasn't thrilled. I figured a high 3 star at best. The gutters were fine but there were noticeable gaps with the guards, the installation was done differently than I expected, and a small part of it wasn't even what I had ordered. I figured it wouldn't get much better, but I wanted to give them a chance. In my view how a company reacts to feedback from their customer is a real statement about how the company operates. They couldn't ask for someone better than Jacob to be their "follow up" guy. He reached out to me after I let billing know I had some concerns. He was polite, listened to all of my concerns, and didn't even give a hint of argument. He asked what my schedule was and set up an appointment to swing by within 48 hrs. He arrived on time, checked out the situation, quickly made the changes to the install that I thought needed to be looked at and was happy to do it. Not once did he try to give me an excuse, nor did he even hint at it being my problem. He did EXACTLY what someone his position is supposed to do to make sure I was a happy customer. ...and today (weeks later) we finally got a good heavy rain that let me really see the final results. It's the first time in years I've been able to go on my back patio during a heavy rain without being ankle deep in water. The gutters and guards worked perfectly. Thanks to Berger Services for showing that customer satisfaction really is the #1 priority.

The employee who came out to make the estimate was prompt, efficient, and gave us a great price for the work needed. We were able to schedule the work in 5 days, and they were prompt, efficient, and cleaned up afterwards! I would hire them again.

Berger Home Services installed gutters back of our house. The estimator Kurt was nice and gave us fare rate. Workday was scheduled and the installers were so nice and explained everything. Gutters professionally installed to our specifications. They continue to perform to our expectation, and they look great! I would use them again and would like to recommend them to my family and friends.

Berger Home Services impressed me. I received four bids and although they were not the lowest prices, they came in immediately with a fair price, no gamesmanship, and presented themselves more professionally than others. Even though all others chose to come back to me with prices lower than them, they didn't provide me their best price upfront. I felt confident in selecting Berger, recommend them, and would use them again.

The work was done quickly (regardless of COVID19 restrictions), the craftsmanship and materials excellent. There is a reason the company has been in business for so many years. I would recommend them and would use them again. Note, the work was performed during COVID19 restrictions. During this time, the normal way of doing business and customer interaction was in flux and so this is a consideration in the review. In some cases, the assumption is that this was a relevant factor in terms of communication as it related to the crew that did the work and throughout the project. I also assume a final walk through with me was not done because of existing restrictions, instead of a phone call. Having said that, I am incredibly pleased.

A guy named Vernon had contacted me saying he would come out to my home to give me a quote. He never showed up, and when I called him, he informed that his company doesn’t do small jobs and then tried to get me to do more than what I posted needed to be done along with a $1900 quote. Not reliable.
