Groundworks

When we purchased our home in 2017, there was already a crack across the top 2 segments of the driveway where that area had sunk quite a bit. Besides the cosmetic issue, we felt this subsidence was also a tripping hazard. After researching online and using Angi, I found GROUNDWORKS (formerly FSS: Foundation Support Specialists) who came out to give an estimate. Ricardo showed up on time with advanced warning of his ETA. He was thorough and left me with a color-coded bid. Some of the driveway and sidewalk leading to the front door were going to be lifted, and some parts stabilized using the foam injection method. Even though I received bids from 2 other companies, I chose GROUNDWORKS for their 5-year warranty and mid-level pricing. All companies were 4.5 stars or higher on both Google and Angi. On the job day, they arrived on time. The job was completed in about 2 hours. I am very happy with the results.

Matt Wasiele came out to help us. Incredibly informative, friendly, and very professional. We signed a contract for repair and paid a down payment, but later decided it wasn’t the right time. The company was very understanding and quick with the refund! Definitely going to keep them in mind for the future.

They did great work and fast! The job was completed ahead of schedule by John, Brian, and Nick. They did an excellent job in "listening" to my house to not overcorrect the sinking with my pier and beam home. Edgar came out Saturday and by Thursday the crew was working on it. Edgar answered my page of questions I had prepared with patience the day of the quote and then leading up to the job provided assistance (no matter the time of day). I appreciated how available he was and that they worked with me through the different financing and payment options. I highly recommend them for local foundation work and appreciated that the work I elected to have done is backed by 25 year warranty and came with a 3 year service plan to monitor how things settle. Great perk!
