I was very lucky to have Emily Vidor of Greenwood King as my agent for my first home purchase. Emily was infinitely flexible and patient as I determined what kind of house and neighborhood I desired (which changed several times over my search). Once I found a house that I liked, she provided both excellent recommendations for the inspections (both what kind to have done and who to use) and thorough market data for both the house and the neighborhood. Additionally, she referred me to the loan officer that I used for my mortgage. Once the contract was signed, Emily kept me organized on what I needed to do prior to closing. Throughout the process (even some points where the negotiations got complicated), she was always friendly, composed and available to answer my questions. All in all, Emily's efforts allowed me to get a spectacular deal on a house that meets all of my needs. Kaki Vallee with Greenwood King on Kirby assisted in the sale and purchase of our home(s) in Houston.  She is the consummate professional.  Extremely knowledgeable about the neighborhoods, schools, and service providers in the area.  She is also hard working... often working late into the night on proposals, comps, etc. and driving around to check out prospects before forwarding them for our review.  High energy, low pressure on the clients, professional, ethical, and genuinely kind. If she hadn't already found us the perfect home, I'd use her again!

Kaki understood clearly what I was looking for and made sure that the homes we visited met the criteria that I set.She provided me with information about the homes we were looking at, always made sure that we had appointments on our drives through various communities, and kept in constant communication with me. Kaki was very supportive and provided excellent contacts for me through a series of challenges with financing (many in these times of economic uncertainty). Once I settled on a home and got under contract, Kaki provided me with a form filled with my responsibilities and the dates each was due. It was very helpful and kept me organized throughout the process. Although I hope not to move for a very long, long time - if I were in a position to either sell my home or buy another, Kaki would be the person I would phone.

Margaret Stewart was a phenomenal realtor! She patiently helped me search for my first home for over 9 months. She showed me homes in several parts of town and successfully encouraged me to keep looking even when I got discouraged and frustrated. She wasn't afraid to tell me "you can do better" even when I thought a house was perfect. And, I trusted her when she told me to look at a house that didn't meet several of what I thought were my "must-haves" -- by the way, that's the house I bought and the house I LOVE! During a difficult negotiation process with a tough home builder, Margaret got me what I wanted even when I was ready to throw in the towel. She continued to do the right thing for me even when it meant delaying closing. After almost 30 years in real estate, she has amazing connections and relationships with builders, contractors, engineers, etc. so she knows who to go to to get what she wants / needs. She has already sold my sister a house with the same wonderful outcome. I'd recommend Margaret and Greenwood King to everyone who wants a tough realtor they can trust.

Debbie knows the Houston market well. Her husband is a builder, so any questions about construction and cost of certain fixes she is able to run past her husband. Also she knows various reliable services/workers that can be used on one's new or old house. Debbie points out the good and bad of certain areas and tries to understand your needs and lifestyle. She wont try to talk you into anything. When we are ready to sell we will be calling her again.

She negotiated well for us on this purchase. She also explained all of the documents to us. She was very helpful in choosing the right home. When we looked at the picture of the house that we bought, I was like "no way" because it had vinyl siding. She said "well its perfect every other way and that can be replaced", so we looked at it and loved the house. She was right. She has great instincts on making her clients happy.
