I was highly impressed with how the work to the doors were done - the Front entry door in particular had given me problems for years, and in 15 min they had that thing swinging freely, closing firmly and locking/unlocking like clockwork! The "2nd" part of the experience thou, was close to,a nightmare. I hate sales pitches, and I really hate sales pitches hidden by a cloud of "we are here to help."

The service went well. We were interested in both the weatherization and the audit. We are pleased with the results of the weatherization. We liked the results of the audit as well, but have not pursued their recommendations just yet.

At first, setting up the appointment was a bit of a hassle as either me or the provider was out of town. I had purchased a coupon from angie's list almost 2 months ago - it was a long wait time. When he did finally made it, he did a good job of inspecting the door and plugging the leaks. He noted that the doors did not have good seals and he put in a temporary seal that may last for a few years. Also he added weather stripping at the bottom on of the doors,

Ken showed up on time. The doors both need the weather seals replaced, that was done well. Additionally Ken provided an energy savings review. Good job on that,all very good suggestions. Unfortunately I don't have the budget to do anything at the moment, but when possible will be giving this company a call.

The weather stripping on the doors was terrible. Its pieced together and looks bad. I will have to redo the front door myself. The other work was good. I told them I wanted it done right which he said he would do, but didn't. It may seem like a small thing, but I paid $69. For it and it should look like a professional did it not a little kid.Otherwise, I did get a good price on the radiant barrier & the attic floor looks good.

"I am really disappointed that you would come back with this highly unfair review after all the work we did in your house. You fully understood that you r problem with your doors was the seal that goes around the door and had nothing to do wioth the weatherstripping. we replace the door seals for $199 and that was not included in a $60 weatherstripping for 2 doors. We gave you door sweeps at the bottom of your doors for free that saved you $90 and you were not interested in a new seal. We stopped all the air passages and did our job the best we could. I feel like this review was dishonest. Furthermore I was at your house to pick up my signs to try and bandaid the issue but you were too busy and not home. Thanks for giving a really hard working guy that you gave you a job on energy saving items at half price a C review that was not deserved. If someone at your workplace did this you would be disappointed too,"

They were nice. They did not really do an audit. It was more of a sales pitch. He did a good job but, it was cheap stuff. He did not go around the rest of the house. I thought that I was going to get more. They were right on time.

"CONTRACTERS BEWARE OF THIS CUATOMER We spent over 2 hours and fixed their door sweeps and adjusted the doors for free which was not included in the add.......we fixed extra doors for them for free and gave them $90 worth of servces free and the husband gave this review which is beyond the truth and so far fetched I cant believe it.....nothing short of being vindictive dishonest and absurd BEWARE"

"I am shocked at this C review after we spent over 2 hours straightening out your doors that were dragging on the bottom and off center.....we didnt have to fix those. We did them for free. We replaced 2 door sweeps that were supposed to be $45 charge each for FREE and I told you this was to get a good review and show you that we were hard workers. 2 hours getting that fixed for you and you come back with a C review? Your package that you bought came with a free energy audit and I showed you some products that you house badly needed and would have saved you a ton of money. You asked me to quote you on redoing your A/C Ducts. You called the owner of the company I work for and told him you didnt want to go through me and pay extra so you would like to cut me out and get a quote direct. They called me and told me and I was so disappointed that you, or anyone would actually do something like that. So lets see.....we gave you $90 free, fixed both of your doors dragging the ground, then you try to go around me with my contracter and then you give me a C. This is unfair, unethical, immoral and you should change the review to an A as deserved and do the right thing. Unbelievable............"

"I stayed at your house for well over 2 hours and gave you the 2 door sweeps for free that were supposed to be $45 each. I didnt leave there until you were very happy with the work and very satisfied and said you would give us a good review? Not sure why you changed your mind but Im a bit disappointed as there was nothing more I could have done. I was on time, very professional, very courteous and I worked very hard for you and stopped the issues with your doors for free. Im disappointed that you gave us such a low review. I dont feel like we deserved that."

We worked for over 2.5 hours on your door and put in a new door sweep that was supposed to be a $45 charge that we gave you for free. went very well. in addition to services mentioned above, they replaced short screws with longer screws to stabilize rear French doors to better seal and prevent leakage. They spent time explaining everything they did and were very professional and personable.

They were extremely professional and showed up at the exact time of my appointment. Ken walked around my house, went in my attic, and inspected the inside of my house to find possible energy efficiency improvements. While he was doing this his contractor did the weatherstripping on my back door. The door has electronic locks and has to be aligned perfectly for them to work and they made sure it was right. I was impressed by this because i've had other contractors not pay attention to the details.
It should be noted that the Angie's List Deal is strictly paying for the weatherstripping. You can get an Energy Audit for free, so if you don't need your doors fixed then just call the company directly.
The solutions that we came up with for my house are adding a raddiant barrier in the attic, fixing the insulation around my soffits, and adding a solar attic fan. I have all new insulation in my walls and new double pane windows so there was no room for improvement there. I'm currently running the numbers to determine if the work is cost effective, but if I do end up doing the work I will definitely go with Ken.

Ken and John showed up on time and ready to get the job done. The house is 11 years old. It is a Newmark home so it was built extremely well. Ken did the energy audit and found a couple of places in the attic that needed more insulation. It was a minor proble but one that will need a simple fix that I could do myself. Ken inspected the roof, attic, AC units, electrical box, the exterior doors and the windows. He had a heat meter and was very professional in his methodoligy.
Ken proceeded to go over all the services and products that Green Energy could provide. It was a very broad list with some very interesting products. I didn't think our need for additional energy efficency was great enough to justify the investment at this time. However, for an older house I can see where some of the products would reduce energy useage significantly.
While Ken was reviewing the Green Energy products, John was adjusting the doors. My doors were significantly out of alignment. John had them fiixed in no time. Now they open and close without catching.
Overall, I was very pleased with Green Energy.

Wd had a great experience. We were able to get all the services coordinator by Green Energy Solutions. The services were provided in a very timely and efficient manner. Kenny Evans is wonderful to work with. He did not pressure us to get anything we did not need. He was responsive to all calls. We would definitely recommend him and will use him again!

They were very professional, on time, and man is it hard to find good contracters like this. Ken explained the details of his project beforehand and followed it to a tee. We were able to confirm his progress every step of the way based on the project description checklist. I will recommend you to all of my friends.
