Golden Locksmith

Everything was great. When I called, the lady who answered was pleasant and said the locksmiths would call me shortly to set an appointment. Minutes later, Johnnie called. I sent him a picture of whet I needed. They had to order the fob so it took a few days. But, Johnnie arrived on time when he said he would (actually he called ahead and was able to come about 20 minutes early). He was pleasant and professional and answered my questions. He was done in less than 30 minutes. So: he replaced a lost fob for my car with push button start, cut the valet key, reprogrammed both fobs, in 30 minutes, in the driveway on my house, and he saved me $100 and 2-3 house had I gone to the dealership to have it done. I would definitely call them back for my next lock or key need.

All went well. Very pleased with professionalism. I have a lower score on the quality only because it was a new model car and they didn’t have the key code to cut the key. The tech offered to cut the key at their shop after I obtained the key code from the dealership but it just makes it a little inconvenient. I would use them again.

Sam came early and made sure that my 83yr old aunt didnt have to hassle with putting shears under the door to unlock it. He explained that the house had settled and that shifted the door position. He was quick and fixed it in 15 minutes! He didn't even have to replace the locks! Now my aunt can come and go with no problems!!

Way better than going to a dealer. Great service and a great price, researched and got 7 quotes to replace my car keys. Joey responded fast and friendly. We scheduled a time and he came out and finished the job in under 15 min in the freezing cold. Highly recommend and trust him for any locksmith needs.

Went very well. I called and they came within 45 minutes, exactly on schedule that they said they would follow. The work was done quickly and he tested every key I had to be certain they all worked.

Positives: I was very satisfied with the communication they provided on the front end of it as the technician was late but communicated very well. He was very polite and skilled and adjusted another lock to make it easier to work with. He replaced my outside lock on a garden gate with one that looked like the broken one at what seems like a reasonable rate. Negatives: The inside locks were of a lesser brand than mine and much less attractive (and expensive) than the originals. After they were installed, I noted my concerns about the appearance of them and we discussed a refund of the new locks and working with/repairing/sourcing the older, more expensive and attractive locks. He checked back with me for confirmation of this course the following business day; however, I did not hear back for nearly two weeks when I called back to check on it. He then indicated another charge would be necessary to rekey the newer, less attractive locks. He showed me the outside one and its match before installing it, but not the inside ones which I am less happy with, so I am just disappointed overall as my assumption was that the replacements would be similar in appearance inside as they were outside. I felt the original charge was awfully steep but was prepared to be satisfied with it given huge time constraints on my end and their ability and willingness to do it same day. As it is, I feel I paid a very hefty premium for this given the new inside locks do not match others in my house in quality and appearance. I do not want to make it worse by paying more still, so have resolved to stay with the status quo with working and serviceable but less attractive locks.

I am very pleased with my service from Golden Key Locksmiths. The response time was quick. The technician (Johnny?) was knowledgeable and did a perfect job. I will definitely be using them in the future. I would highly recommend them.

I was in a huge hurry to get out of the house, but needed to get the closet door unlocked.  I called several locksmiths, and Golden promised to come out within 30-45 minutes.  I called at 11, and they had the door open and the guy was gone by 11:45.  Could not be more pleased!  It was a door with a key, so he didn't just pop it open with a hanger!

I would give them 5 stars because they are awesome. They are personable, helpful and they showed up quickly when I needed them. They're prices are also very reasonable.
