Friendswood development company is not concerned about their residents once the ink is dry on the closing documents and they have received their monies from the sale of homes. They claim to Create "master planned" communities but there is an obvious "lack of planning" regarding Lakes of Savannah North in Rosharon, TX. They have built these sparkling new homes amidst a trailer park community full of immigrant criminals who shoot stray bullets at our homes, burglarize our property & vehicles, invade our homes, burn trash on an unrestricted basis causing heavy air pollution preventing you from enjoying your outdoor space, build Lakes with gators without warning signs, and failure to mention that the trailer park residents dispose of their waste just a couple of feet behind our backyards. Many residents have contacted Friendswood Development on multiple occasions and we NEVER ever receive a response. We asked for a cement wall to help cancel out noise from the loud music and prevention of stray bullets from the trailer park. We asked for regulation on the waste disposal. We asked for security. We get nothing in return once they've pocketed their money. Yet the developer builds cement walls in visible areas of the neighborhood for beautification purposes but refuse to build a wall for its residents' protection. I am very angry as a first time homeowner who has to stop her young daughter from playing in the backyard for fear of a bullet taking her life. Or that I can't sit in my backyard and take a breath of fresh air Because the trailer park residents are burning their filthy trash all the time. I feel as though I have been cheated in a major way. My first time experience as a brand new homeowner of a $300k home, $10k in annual taxes, $950 annual HOA fee has been ruined! I am not safe in my own home and fear everyday that I may be innocently shot by gunfire while sitting at my kitchen table or driving home. Lastly, within 1 short year of living here the nearby elementary schools have been placed on locked down MULTIPLE times due to murders & drug related activities literally a few feet away from the entryway of your child's school. DO NOT PURCHASE A HOME WITH FRIENDSWOOD DEVELOPMENT COMPANY!
