The rep on the phone went on line and figured out exactly what I needed to replace my built-in microwave. He referred me to Best Buy and Home Depot to purchase items that they do not sell. (Gave me product numbers) He was friendly and helpful. I will buy my next major appliance from Factory Builders Store. I am AMAZED!

I went to Factory Builder Stores (based on recommendations had read) to look at new cook tops, as my 38+ year old one was deteriorating, and could no longer buy parts for it. I was interested in induction cook top, and they had a good selection. The sales person (Ross) was just great, and helped me pick out a cook top and let me know that first I would need to find out the maximum number of amps that the appliance could be for my home (a good thing, as what another sales person at another business had told me would not have worked) - so that initiated an electrical inspection of my home that cleared up a lot of other issues. Besides that, he told me the interesting history of my current cook top and why it was no longer made (no wonder parts no longer available!). They scheduled delivery for right before my new counter top was installed so installer could make correct cutout. Since having this cook top installed, have really enjoyed learning to use it. And . . . I got to get a new set of cookware to use with it, as most of my old cookware was not induction ready (a nice treat for myself).

We don't think it could have been done any better.

I ordered an Electrolux wine storage cabinet from FBS.  It was promised to be delivered approximately one week later.  We set up the date and approximate time range.  I made a special effort to have someone at my home to accept delivery.  They never came nor did they call.  I called them late in the day and was told no delivery was scheduled.  I was also told the unit was on back order but was expected to be delivered in two days.  Two days came and went - no call from the company.  I called them several times before receiving a return call.  I was told, again, the unit was still back ordered but it was expected to be on the next truck "in a few days".  Two weeks later, still no call.  I called them again several times before finally getting some one to answer and was told they had no idea when the unit would be in.  I cancelled the order.  The only good thing with this poor customer service experience was I received a prompt refund on my purchase price.

THEY KNEW THEIR PRODUCTS. THE SALESPERSON WAS POLITE AND VERY HELPFUL. WE WENT BACK SEVERAL TIMES WITH LOTS OF QUESTIONS AND HE ANSWERED THEM FOR US.
