EZ Floors

Absolutely do not use this company. We spent over $20,000 on engineered hardwood flooring for our home, and the installation was handled negligently. This company failed to perform a proper moisture test and did not apply a moisture barrier sealant on the concrete slab prior to installation ? both of which are standard industry practices for slab foundations. We trusted their expertise and assumed any required preparation would be recommended, but it was not. As a result, our downstairs flooring has been completely ruined due to moisture intrusion coming directly from the slab. Instead of taking responsibility, the company is now attempting to shift the blame to us, claiming it?s a foundation problem ? which it is not. Moisture levels in concrete naturally fluctuate with seasonal changes, and proper testing and barrier application would have prevented this issue entirely. We are extremely disappointed in both their workmanship and their refusal to stand behind their installation.

We are pleased with the job that was done. It did take a little longer than we thought it would because the workers didn't start until 9 or 9:30 each day. I only say that because we chose to stay in our house while the work was being done and it was a little inconvenient. If I had to do it over again, we would have chosen to stay elsewhere a few of the days. Overall, we were happy with the results though.

Could not have gone better. We dealt with their Katy, TX location and everyone from the sales team to the actual project supervisor were a pleasure to work with. They kept to the initial schedule that was set and the work was outstanding. We have recommended them to everyone.

The job was done fantastically from the sales floor to installation. Chris Terawi is the guy to see at EZ Floors. We purchased the hardwoods for our entire downstairs on Thursday, started installation on Friday, and they were done by Sunday. He was available by phone at any time during the day to take our calls. He gave us a great price and was helpful in all parts of the transaction.

I worked with Jay and Soloman from the West Rd store. I had them install approx. 1200 sq ft of new laminate flooring throughout the house to replace carpeting that has been damaged by my last renter. Since I live in North Carolina, I was very apprehensive about working with a company I had never worked with before on such an expensive project. Jay worked with me to schedule the work in December while the house was vacant and did an excellent job. I made arrangements to fly in to be in town for the work, so staying on schedule was critical. When Jay was out sick, Soloman stepped in to make sure everything was completed on schedule as promised. The quality of the workmanship was high, and my new floors are beautiful! I definitely plan to work with them again on future flooring projects.

Jay at West and Queenston store was the Best! Not only did he give me an excellent price, but he helped me pick out the tiling and granite for the bath remodel (removing a jacuzzi tub and replacing it with a walk in shower). Oh my gosh! It looked better than what I have seen showcased in stores! Jay has a keen eye for design, so I highly recommend that you utilize his expertise! There was a problem with part of the flooring installed, but Shawn, the store manager. was very responsive and it was taken care of , with no stress on me. I believe he is the primary reason this store does so well. This EZ store has an excellent reputation locally, so I didn't need Angie's List (for me to get an estimate from them), but I wanted to write a review because they deserve the praise for doing excellent work for a great price, and I would certainly want to know about them.

EZ Floors was quick to respond with a quote, worked with us to find a style that matched our floor (the exact model number had been discontinued), and completed the work sooner than expected. They were helpful and easy to work with, and we plan to use them again in the future when we replace other flooring in our house.

They did an excellent job and cleaned up after their work. I provided them with felt pieces to go on all the furniture and they installed them for me. I was very impressed with the entire crew's professionalism.

We had a great experience with Ez Floods. We were helped by Matt at the West Road location. He was very helpful and patient. He took his time to find us a match for the wood that the previous owner had installed at her house. He was very responsive and always there to answer any questions. The installation department was very helpful in setting the installation date and rescheduling due to a delay with closing. The installers were very professional and punctual. They did a great job. We are very happy with our experience with Ez Floors and will definitely use them for future ptojects.
