Our family was flooded out of our home during Hurricane Harvey in August 2017. I contacted Randy after getting assistance from flood insurance, and he responded quickly and met with me soon to look over the house and give me a quote. He was very fair and honest about everything that we would need to do in order to complete the house. The people who worked on his crew were also very professional and skilled at their jobs. We were able to move back in to our house in April 2018 (faster than many flooded houses in our neighborhood). They literally rebuilt our house from top to bottom, updating many things along the way. It was a surprisingly smooth process from beginning to end. We are thankful to Randy and his crew for helping make a very stressful ordeal as stress-free as possible. And our new house looks amazing!!

Very Good - professional

I went so easy that I thought I was in a dream. Everything went as planned. Randy's crew showed up when they were scheduled to. The men were very hard working and listened to all you said. Randy . the owner, came each day and check on progress and asked if we had any problems we would like corrected. We had an issue with the gate across the patio and he assured us he would build it until we were happy. He did just that; in fact coming out on two separate occasions to redesign the gate till we were perfectly satisfied. I obtained several bids on having my existing fence removed and replaced. Estep Construction was by far the best. The owner returned my call promptly and provided a quote based on the measurements of the fence. When we spoke, the job was scheduled to start within the week. The day before work started, the owner and his work crew foreman came to the house to review the job and ensure they clearly understood the job expectations (what I needed). They were attentive, answered all my questions and were focused on my needs (excellent customer focus!!!!!). I have used contractors for other various home jobs and by far Estep Construction has been the best. They are customer focused and strive to meet the customer expectations!!! Price - The cost estimate was spot on. What I paid was what was quoted. The price was far better than the other contractor's I received bids from. Excellent price!!!!!!! Quality - The fence Estep Construction Built was high quality and sturdy. They used hurricane brackets for the cross members which make the fence stronger. Excellent quality!!! Responsiveness - The owner was very responsive to my call and questions. I was very impressed. He also called me when the job was complete to discuss whether I reviewed the work and what I thought about the job. Punctuality - The owner arrived when he said he would arrive and the work crew was prompt each day (took three days to complete the entire job - removal of old fence, installation of posts and installation of pickets). Professionalism - The work crew was very professional, courteous and diligent. The work crew worked hard to complete the job and cleaned up all scrapes/extra material used for the job. I am very, very pleased with the fence installation from professionalism to quality to overall job satisfaction. I would and will use Estep Construction for my future home improvement needs. Project was completed in less than two on-site days, with attention to (vertical and horizontal) alignment and fit-up (to neighboring fence on each end of the installed fence) as well as clearance under the fence to allow for weed-eaters to clear out growth either side of the fence. Owner is a good communicator, knows and understands and takes care of the details.

The entire process went very smooth. They came out the first day we called them to do measurements and find out what work needed to be done. The gentleman prepared an estimate and sent it to us the same day he came to our house and did the measurements. We then notified them that we agreed on the price and the details on what work was to be performed. That was a Friday. They came back the following Monday and tore down our existing fence. They also set the poles with concrete for the framing of the new fence that they were installing. They came back the next day to put up the rest of the fence and installed the new gate. They also hauled off all the old fencing material. They were able to complete everything (take down the old fence, set the poles, install the new fence, and haul off the old fencing material) all within two days time! I was very impressed with how fast and easy the process went. The new fence looks perfect. The quality of their work is wonderful and the price was very competitive. I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing a new fence.

Flood repairs can be devastating both mentally and financially BUT that was not the case for my family from using Estep Construction. They where prompt to remove all damaged materials within 24 hours of waters receding. From day one they assured me that I had nothing to worry about and that there goal was to rebuild my home beautifully and affordably. They where absolutely correct and they have created a showcase home for my family. I am even prouder of my home than what I was before construction.

Estep Construction installed all new sheetrock and installed custom cabinets (we just gave them the picture and they duplicated it). Basically they remodeled our kitchen, master bath, laundry, living room (both), and two bedrooms downstairs. We where so amazed by the attention to detail in remodeling our downstairs, we felt it would be a wise invest to have Estep Construction install wood floors on our staircase and throughout the hallways upstairs. They where even able to install new carpet in upstairs bedrooms at a fraction of the cost others quoted.

Several home on our street suffered the same damages we did, but none of them got the quality and value we received. Throughout the entire process several of our neighbors kept coming over to see what was going on at our house and took so many ideas from the creative minds of Estep Construction to their contractors but they could never duplicate the craftsmanship and couldn't even come close to what I was paying. We saved thousands compared to others.

Estep Construction said from day one they would turn our house into a showcase home AND they delivered more than I expected.
