"Sometimes there are demanding clients and misunderstandings we run into. Ms. Ruchika hired us to repair not re-build her leaking/failing balcony and we normally don't install or repair roofs. The entire reason she contacted us in the first place was to check the leak she had on her third floor. Our suspicions were the leak was getting in somewhere by the balcony or higher up which we let her know. We agreed to repair not rebuild the entire balcony, Set up scaffolding, install new tiles, seal/waterproof, paint her doors on the third-floor balcony, and agreed to open up a section to check for damages. Once we opened up, we found out the majority of the balcony was going to be damaged, and found out a great portion of the side of the home was damaged from a failing roof. It is a lie that she agreed for us to open up to test for leaks because she let us continue cutting. Later on, the second day we showed up, she said I just thought one section not a lot of sections, at the end of the first day she was checking up on us to see how we were doing and didn't say anything or try to stop us from cutting the rest of the sections, on the contrary, said something along the lines of how's it going, how does it look. Besides that, we spent the entire day setting up the scaffold, cutting the holes to find the source of the leak, lifting the tiles, going to lunch, and buying materials. After we investigated at the end of the day she was fine with the process and even asked how was it all going and what we found. At the end of the day, we told her we would continue the next day. The next day she had a friend over to help her talk to us because she was confused about why we needed to cut the holes. We told her it was to find the source of the leak and we ended things with her needing to give us some sort of payment for the work we had done, after she talked to her friend she came up with the sum of $500 for the work we had done, after stating we need something closer to the down payment, she told us her friend wanted her to give us more than that, we agreed we would need to wait for two weeks for her insurance company to get back to her. We work with Down Payments to start a job, We made an exception for Ms. Ruchika because she was recommended by someone, she didn't want to pay a down payment and agreed she would pay a down payment at the end of the week. All in all, we needed to find the source of the leak and came to that understanding and agreed it would be best to wait for the insurance company to get back to her after she had reached out to them and wasn't able to get a response from them so we could continue the work to repair her balcony and cover costs. About two weeks later she called and after we didn't get back to her soon enough she took the liberty to post this comment which is misleading."
