DEEP'N SERIOUS CLEANING

I was expecting great things from Deborah based on the reports. She got lost on the way to our house and was an hour and 45 minutes late. We needed deep cleaning of a home prior to moving in. She was hired to deep clean the house. The work that was accomplished was less than I hoped. She cleaned the kitchen cabinets (15 lower cabinets, 10 drawers and 16 upper cabinets - not huge, but fairly good sized kitchen) and an upstairs bath and powder room. She started to clean the oven (i.e. sprayed oven off), but forgot about it and I had to finish cleaning the oven later. The work she did was thorough, but she was VERY SLOW! It took 5.5 hours to clean what I mentioned. For $75/hour, I expected more (I should have used my regular cleaner - she is faster and just as thorough) I would not call Deborah again. The work was good quality work, but she was extremely late and very slow (i.e. very expensive since she charges by the hour).

Deborah showed up about 20 minutes late, but armed with lots of cleaning supplies and tools. She was friendly, nice, clean, and respectful towards my home and belongings. She was very effective in cleaning the fridge (even behind it and those icky grates at the bottom), the oven, and windows. She did, however, lose a little steam as the day went on, and the other rooms lacked the detailed touch she gave the kitchen. She's expensive, $45 an hour with a 4 hour minimum, but well worth it, as she will do all those yucky tasks that you and I won't, and she'll do them really well. Going forward, I'll schedule just one or two rooms for cleaning in a 4-5 hour day, instead of trying to fit the entire house into one. I will definitely be calling Deborah every three to five months to do the deep cleaning that regular housekeepers typically won't touch.

She arrived on time with a variety of cleaning products and tools. Her rates were a little high but in the end I felt that it was worth everything I paid. She exceeded my expectations and my home has never looked better.
