DC Builders replaced our broken driveway and poured a new sidewalk and small porch. Their crew was very skilled and efficient. I was particularly impressed with the detail of the clean up at the end of the job. I wholeheartedly recommend DC Builders for any concrete work.

In the biginning was ok, then Joey start acting up like crazy and only wanted to paid in all cash no check I ask why then he n connie saying because the corona virus the bank won’t cash the check so I have to go to the bank every time they want a draw, he was promised is will be done in 6-7weeks but it took a longer because he sell me everything else he said I need this n that so I did add on some more, then he kept on making me add more stuff I say no I don’t need its and every stuff he want me to change order and add on is way too high I just can’t afford, and I have to go by him order not me, when the work begins he tears out the side of my house fence and charge me over $5k to put it back and 1 evening late in the night around 10:30pm he jumps on the porch with out called r let us know, he got very ugly at near the end yelling screaming and slamming my house bedroom doors, we paid him n connie all up in full and there are many things undone later on I found out connie was his aunt the are both so unprofessional so money hunger. And constantly yells creams at me call me all names n threatened me all kind, I just want to let people know to be carful to hire him please checks out throughly not end up like me. Thanks Diana

Everything went great. The staff was excellent and the quality high. They added a roof over our patio that merged with our existing roof line. I would recommend DC Builders to anyone looking to build or remodel existing areas.

DC Builder's were extremely great. There were a couple setbacks int he schedule due to concrete not being cured and getting an actual concrete truck to come out, both not within their control. In a way, the fact that they would not coat the concrete because it was not dry enough is not a bad thing, they could have easily done it and I could have had issues down the road, but they elected to come back the next day and try again. They even matched my existing concrete to the new concrete perfectly. I would definitely hire them again if I needed more concrete work done.

Work went very well. Crew did a great job. Joey was easy to talk to and responsive to any questions I had. The price point was very fair and I was very happy with the work. I will calling DC Builders to bid on any other work I may have in the future.

My wife and I recently hired the team at DC Builders to pour a new driveway and build a pretty hefty carport at our house. We were fortunate to get to work with Connie as our project manager and Joey as our builder. In the interest of not making you read to the end of my rambling review, they were fantastic and the quality of the their work was top notch. Starting with the bidding process, they were incredibly responsive, courteous, and patient while we honed in on what we wanted the structure to look like. We ended up changing the scope on them a couple of times and they were incredibly accommodating each time. After selecting DC Builders to do the work, things started moving at an impressive pace. They took care of working with an engineering firm to generate the structural drawings and site plan for city and HOA approval. After getting the HOA approval, they were able to get the permits from the city in just two days! This is a true testament to the value that Connie was able to bring to this project as we needed multiple permits for the driveway cutin, the structure, as well as the City of Houston traffic division given that we live on a "major thoroughfare". We did hit a small snag with the city approvals, but Connie handled it like a champ and we were able to continue the project without any delays. Joey and his team started construction the very next day. They were very considerate about keeping the work site clean and tidy while they built the structure and concrete forms. All trash and excess materials/dirt were hauled off daily and there was no damage to the yard despite the fairly heavy construction that was going on. The team worked consistently and I felt like the construction was completed in as timely of a manner as possible. Upon completion of the work, Joey and I did a quick walk-through to identify any issues. The one issue we did have (a small shard was partially separated on one of the columns) was resolved shortly thereafter. The quality of the project management and the construction was top notch. We will continue to work with DC Builders for any future improvements at our home. Just a quick note on the attached photo: Joey offered to paint or stain the exposed wood but I elected to do this work myself.

It was an absolute pleasure doing business with DC Builders, especially with Connie and Joey. Though I have a small backyard, they made me feel like a valued customer. The team was quick to respond to all my questions and the work completed was absolutely beautiful! DC Builders were able to do the job within budget and within our time line. Joey solved the some structural issues as well. I am very critical of bad craftsmanship, and I am seldom completely pleased with work we have had done in the past, but Joey and his team came in and did a remarkable job. They were there when they agreed to be and were very respectful to both me and my property. Joey kept me updated at all times. I am extremely happy with the new porch. It’s beautiful!

We meet with DC Builders once to get a quote on our concrete driveway expansion and met 2 times again to finalize our project. Joey was very professional, and knew what permits to get to do the job. We had some knowledge in how the project should be constructed, and DC Builders were spot on with doing the job correctly. During the project, we decided we wanted extra curbing poured on one side of the driveway. DC Builders reviewed the spot where the cement was to be poured and determined that there was enough soil to support the cement, curbing and driveway extension. Their crew was on time, worked hard, understood the job, and finished on time. I would consider DC Builders again if I should have another projected.
