Worst delivery service ever. If you buy appliances from Home Depot, make sure this company doesn't deliver. They will damage your home and appliances. They broke my refrigerator water line two weeks ago and still waiting for it to get resolved.

Everything went perfectly. The same person loaded the truck, drove and unpacked once in Michigan. It was seamless.

They have always done an excellent and very professional. You can trust them and they are very careful with our belongings. There were a few things that were damaged, but they took care of it quickly.

The sales rep was extremely professional and thorough in looking over the "partial load" we needed moved. The coordinator was good about notifying me and the receiver. I didn't watch the packers, so don't know how they did, but the crating crew was very good at their job, thinking of every detail to protect the pieces. When it turned out that someone forgot to send the promised 10'-long piece of PVC to roll the fragile old rug around so it was supported, the crater cut two long pieces of wood to "splint" the rug during the trip--quick thinking and a clever idea! The load was delivered fairly quickly to its destination (unlike a partial load years ago that got lost for 6 weeks by another mover). Partial loads aren't the major concern with big moving companies, but Daryl Flood Mayflower did a great job with ours, all along the way. Angie's List, please note: This company DOES have a license, and awards on moving company sites!

I paid $3300 for the moving service. They moved my furniture and other things in their trailer. They also unloaded them at the other end. I wasn’t very impressed with them and I wouldn’t use them again. They did an adequate job, but they did not wrap the things. However, not one was wrapped. There was minor damage to things and there were minor dents on my furniture. It was frustrating. On the actual moving day, the foreman and the crew were packing. I had to go out for something. When I got back, the foreman was gone and the crew couldn’t speak English. They couldn’t explain to me why the foreman had left. The work slowed down. When I left at 4:00 p.m. the foreman told me that the work would be done another 90 minutes. When I went back, they were still packing the house at 9:00 p.m. The new people, who were waiting for their keys, had left. Eventually the work got done and they stored the things in their warehouse for 5-6 days. They brought stuff up to my new house. The foreman was there, too. It turned out that his wife had gone into labor and he had rushed off to be with his wife. However, nobody could tell me this to me. It would have been nice if somebody could have told me that the foreman had left because he was having a baby. They did the job, but they could have been a little better. Their price was very competitive. I will not use this company again in the future.

We haven't moved yet but we have chosen them to do the move. They did move my mother and we were very pleased. They did a great job of moving my mom. They were really professional.

The move went great. Eileen Kuykendall came out and gave us an estimate and some very good moving tips. She kept us informed of the plans and all of the paperwork. Our moving coordinator, Vanessa, worked with us when it got closer to our move to schedule the packing and loading. The Houston crew showed up at my apartment on Monday, April 13. They packed up my apartment and loaded all my stuff. They then went to my brother's apartment and did the same for him. They were originally scheduled to pack one day and load the next, but were able to do it in the same day. We were thrilled about this because that meant they were able to get our belongings on the road quicker for earlier delivery at our destination. The crew and our stuff showed up early Saturday, April 18. Once again, thrilled that they were able to deliver so quickly, as we were given a 4-7 day window. It was raining, but the guys unloaded our stuff without incident. They were also able to keep mine and my brother's belongings separate in the truck. Our driver, Diego, couldn't have been any nicer. This company, and everyone involved, definitely helped make a move that I was very nervous about, way less stressful!

They did a pre-visit to give me an estimate, were on time and very friendly. Did a complete walk through of the house and recorded all that needed to be moved. They had computers and even brought their own printer so they could give me a complete estimate when they were through. Their price was a fixed cost of a local move and they promised to have it completed in one day(which I needed). They called the week before the move to confirm the date then called the day before the move to tell me the name of the driver. They arrived right on time(about 8:20 AM on a Saturday morning)with a crew of 5. They were very, very efficient and had the entire house packed in less than 3 hours. They were even faster during unloading, about 2.5 hours. The crew was friendly and cooperative, pointed out a couple of problems with our packing, and generally very polite. Nothing was broken during the move(a miracle in itself)and they pointed out where they had dinged a door frame in the new house while getting the refrigerator in. I have used movers before with very, very bad results but this move went almost perfectly.

The estimator/consultant, Loren Humphrey, was efficient, cheerful and punctual and came out a second time when I changed my mind about a couple of items and wanted to ask more questions. Vanessa Thombs, my phone contact, was clear and helpful about providing boxes and information about transport and delivery. The pick-up driver, Moses, and his crew moved out my stuff in record time on a brutally hot day. The delivery driver, Bill Jewell, was an actual jewel; a prince of a man. He went the extra mile to maneuver his huge truck into position on my steep, hilly street, thus avoiding the need of a costly shuttle operation and worked well with his local crew of helpers to get my possessions under cover quickly. They have a new, spacious and clean warehouse in Houston and everyone I dealt with there was friendly and helpful. Overall, a very good company and a fine experience, considering that moving ranks up there with root canal treatment. I also had three fragile items crated for the move by Tejas Packing and Crating and their man's work was great.
