Two months later the lawnmower will not start and is leaking gasoline from the carburetor. I would absolutely NOT use this provider again because he is deceptive about the price and the service work is poor.

They figured out my lawnmower battery was installed wrong after going thru a bunch of different checks. It solved the problem.

I dropped off my equipment on Saturday about 11 am. Eric (Wade's brother) met me and helped take my lawnmower out of my jeep. I told him about the leaf blower and he immediately said that I probably had sheared the crankshaft and that they had the part and to fix it would be $40. For the lawnmower, he said they would tune it up and sharpen the blade. About 3 hours after I had dropped off the equipment, Eric called and said the work was done and that I could come and pick the equipment up. When I got there, Eric explained what they did to each equipment item and then started up both the leaf blower and lawnmower for me. Total cost for fixing the leaf blower and tuning the lawnmower was $80. I was very pleased with the work, the cost, and with the promptness of the job. I would highly recommend Dand S to anyone needing small equipment repair. Eric and Wade were both nice guys and a pleasure to work with.

After spending a couple hundred dollars elsewhere, only to have a mower that would run once, and then never start again, the experienced folks at Dand S got it to run, and observed a problem. They picked it right up, plopped it on a bench, and proceeded to dismantle the carburetor and make some necessary adjustments that SHOULD have been made by the previous shop's technicians, and got the mower operating correctly in short order. When I asked how much I owed, I was told that I could bring my next problem to them, and they'd charge me for that! So, not only did they fix my problem on-the-spot, and quickly, but also for free! They've got another customer, now, as I will gladly drive the extra 25 miles each way to take my mower to someone who actually knows what they are doing. Kudos to Dand S for being and quot;old schooland quot;, and doing things right!

Should have written this a few months back. I had 2 $1200 generators that would not start. I dropped them off on a Saturday, they helped me unload, took my phone number, and on Tuesday I got the call that they were both running fine. The total charge was $100 and they loaded them back in my truck. Don't find many places anymore that do good work on a hand shake and are reasonably priced. They have earned all of my future business.

These guys are great. I have a plate compactor and power washer that wouldn't start. I took them to D and S on a Friday about 10:00 a.m. on a Friday, and they were ready to be picked up at 3:30 that same day. I spent $50.00 on the plate compactor and $40.00 on the power washer. Before I left they made sure that I knew how to start each engine. It is a family owned business, and they take great pride in their work. I will definitely use them again.

It isnt the best part of town, but don't let the book cover fool you. I pulled up and they helped pull everything out. Then you write your name and number on a tag and they call you when its ready. They had both my units done in 24 hours. I came back, pulled up, gave them my name and they started helping me load my truck. Paid the man $85 cash and drove off. Nice and easy. Highly recommend. Also, 30 day warranty, just save your tag as your receipt.

I checked the reviews on Angie's List for small engine repair and decided to check Dand S out. As others have said, the location is not the greatest and the story front is well . . . uninviting . . . but the service and price are excellent. I dropped my generator off on Saturday and got a call that it was ready to be picked up on Monday. It started right up and is running fine. This place is really interesting, they have a steady flow of customers dropping items off and picking items up. When I was there to drop off and pick up, there were at least four other customers in line to drop items off. Bottom line, appearances can be deceiving and don't be put off by the location or looks of the place.
