I used Custom Scapes for repairing my leaking sprinkler system and tree trimming services. Hermes came out and inspected the leak and he went further and made sure the whole system was in good shape to ensure my system had good water pressure. During his diagnosis, he discovered I had another leak on the other side of my lawn which he was able to quickly repair. His crew was able to take care of my trees and they look great. His quote was very accurate and he is a very friendly person to deal with.

Met with Hermes for a free estimate and scheduled the service the same day. Was very professional and did an excellent job on trimming the large tree in the front yard. When I came home after doctors appointment the tree trimming was wonderful and enhanced the total look of my property. They cleaned the entire area and removed all the cut branches and leaves that had covered not only my house but the neighbors. Got great advice from his father David and will be getting landscaping work done in the near future.

Hermès was honest, reliable and on time. The quality of work was very good. I would hire this company again. This is a good choice.

Hermes trimmed my two large oaks and 3 large palms. He also installed new grass in my lawn that did better in the shade - Palmetto grass. And he installed 6 large Japanese blueberry trees while removing about 6 dying leyland cypress trees. He kept constant communication with us and provided great estimates. He did what he quoted and completed the job in less than two days.

Hermes did a great job and he very professional and his price is very reasonable. He is very prompt and courteous. We moved to a new house and he gave great advice regarding the garden. I will hire him anytime. He designed our new garden in Sienna Plantation sub division.

Hermes was able to come out and provide me with a quote the same day which I felt was very competitive. He continued to provide me with updates as to the schedule for my activities and was very prompt and courteous. He replaced a large amount of sod, removed several large crape myrtles and added new plants. I have hired him for my weekly mowing/shrub service.

I received 3 different quotes from landscapers and Hermes quote was right in the middle of all three. He was very polite, nice, and very trustworthy. He did laid my grass within two days of me calling him and hiring him and his crew to do the job. I am very impressed with his work and I am glad I picked him. He also followed up and came to fertilize my grass. He remained professional the entire time and he will be my grass professional for now on....very pleased! Hermes did an extremely professional job in the regrading and replacement of sod in our front and back yards. As indicated in other reviews, he is gentleman and someone who takes a great deal of pride in the work he performs. In all cases his communication was outstanding; he either called or sent multiple texts to keep me informed. My wife and I were very happy with the work performed. We have already contacted him about future projects. Very, very highly recommended!

I have hired lawn assasins for many years. They show up off-schedule, unannounced and race through the yard enroute to the next mow-mission . I consulted HomeAdvisor and found a REAL lawn are pro. Hermes Amaya received high customer ratings from Houston ,Katy,and the Sugarland areas. He arrived on time the first day and made observations and suggestions for future projects.Its been a month and neighbors are requesting his services.

Hermes was polite and respectful, but not trusts worthy.I gave him a big project in my house and I regret it for below reasons: 1) He did not finish the job and made 6 appointments, but never showed up 2) Cut small trees, but did not remove roots and cover everything with mulch 3) Did not put tarp and cover the ground with mulch. 4) I have to remove the dirt he put for vegetables since nothing was growing. 5) Very irresponsible and never returns the call, TXT or emails. 6) Should never pay him until 100% of the job is finished. 7) Do not have the right address on website.

Hermes was very personable and listened to what I wanted done. He accompanied me to the landscape supply company and gave me the pros and cons for the plants that I had in mind and made suggestions based on what I told him was my desired result. There was no problems getting him to answer the phone as with other contractors I contacted and he provided superb work for the money. I will definitely use him for future projects and recommend him to anyone I know that has a landscaping project.

Universal Scapes is the only company that I will use for my lawn and garden projects. Hermes Amaya provided me a written quotation detailing his activities associated with the removal of my existing front yard sod removal and installation of the new sod. He was prompt and professional. The crew did a wonderful job to include cleaning the street in front of my house after the job was complete. I felt that the amount paid was fair based upon the work which was done. Would I hire this company again? ABSOLUTELY!
