The customer service was beyond excellent. The electrician who provided the service was also very professional, he arrived within the appointment window and explained the possible electric issues I was facing and how much each would cost. Overall, I was very impressed with the service.

Amazed how expensive it was for this company to REPLACE my existing exterior dusk to dawn fixture! They had to move the fixture approximately 10 inches and used a pvc product to do so. They charged me $257. If they had to run wires, it would be different, but there was already a fixture there! Plus, they were asked to provide a quote to replace my electrical panel and told me some line about how my house was not grounded (it was), and that I had aluminum wiring (it doesn't). They quoted me $2600 and "threw in" the house surge protector in that quote! Gee, how kind!! They also said it would cost an additional $800-900 if they had to get into the "box" where the meter is hung. I bet they would have just "had" to do that! I got 5 other quotes and selected a reputable company to do the install at a significantly lower price ($1400) and that INCLUDED the house surge protector! Plus, the company I selected installed two other exterior light fixtures for me and also included a dedicated electrical outlet for my outside freezer! By the way, all of the companies I had asked to quote, absolutely stated I DO NOT have aluminum wiring and that they WOULD NOT have to get into the box holding the meter, and in fact, if they did...it would be included in the cost! Cravens is totally out of line with their pricing, and based on what I have found now, they are not knowledgeable about electrical installs and wish only to SELL! I regret having them install my outside fixture at such a high price, but I am thankful I had other companies out here to provide information, quotes and finally an install I am confident in! I would never recommend Cravens or ever use them again! A pity they remain in business after all the negative reviews I've seen!

With the $5200 they charged me, they could have at least done an excellent job. They cut through the soffit so that there is a huge hole space around the riser where birds and pests can enter. See attached photo.

This guy basically took advantage of me. He told me it would cost me almost $400 look for the problem AND there was no guarantee he would find out anything. I paid him (MY BAD) because I was in a hurry to get it fixed. He spent about 45 minutes showing his apprentice how to take off outlet covers. He didn't DO anything. He also told me it would cost around $4,000 to run a line for a sump pump at the back fence. The next week a friend who is a master apprentice came over and in about 15 minutes figured out what the problem with the outlets was. He put in the line for the sump pump for around $600 (most of that was digging a ditch) and while he was at it put in a new line for the outlet. This guy is "slick" but he's full of it. Don't trust him.

Inconclusive on cause and remedy. Wild guess on cost quote to repair. Had to get pool expert. Spent a fraction of the cost.

NOT WELL. Showed up on time. Polite. Said immediately he'd have to charge me $489 for 2 hours work to ascertain why 2 outlets on the same electrical box kept tripping. This outlet is vital to a sump pump I need when rains a lot. Against my better judgement I STUPIDLY agreed to this, believing that he'd really make an attempt to find the problem. The only info. I got for my money was the fact that it had been wired wrong (DUH!). Last week my friends husband was here, looked at it 5 minutes and said the breaker box is 10 feet away, you've got plenty of extra breakers, drop a new line in. His son came over and he and his dad did this in 2 hours. For $400. Go figure. I'm sure I have the exact date wrong as it was a year ago but I'm steaming about so it needs review.

Chris was at my house right on time and gave me an estimate that was below what a couple of other electricians had quoted. He was very friendly and professional and did a first class job installing a n outdoor GFCI outlet for charging my Chevy Volt. I am going to recommend Cravens to my friends for their electric projects and I will be calling them for my future electrical work.

I chose Craven because I have used them before to help me with issues in my old house. I needed experts in dealing with re-wiring and problem solving when it came to electrical issues. Craven is not the cheapest electricians, but they were worth the price because they took their time, solved very difficult issues such as not ruining expensive wallpaper, and provided the utmost customer service while on property. Having work done on your home while you are living there is not optimal, but Christian, Luke, Oscar, Jacob and Rudy did everything possible to minimize the damage to my home. They were always communicative with me about everything they were doing. We only had minor issues come up like a scratch on a floor. I think that was pretty incredible due to the scale of work. Considering the job covered five rooms and upper/lower hallway with tricky electrical problems like doorbells, phone lines, etc. , I was grateful to have chosen them. They were always willing to go beyond the workload to help solve problems. The owner, Justin, talked with me about costs and time frame. Oscar, the lead electrician, picked a great crew to work on my home and sat down the first day to come up with a work plan that was best for me. Christian and Luke, lead electricians on the project, really thought out the issues and made sure the job was done properly. I have to say I will miss this crew who lived with us for two weeks from 8a.m. to 6 p.m. most days. Lastly, I would like to thank Jacob for his constant smile and helpful attitude as well as Rudy for his work ethic and kindness. Thank you!

Oscar and Christian were right on time, very professional and very thorough with what they needed to do to finish the job, and they gave me a detailed quote. I accepted and we got the work started right away. They said there was a possibility of needing to cut out a big piece of drywall for access, but they worked hard so that this would not be necessary- and saved me some money and aggravation in the process. They got done within 90 minutes or so, and left no trace of them being there- drop cloths, etc very nicely cleaned up. I will use them again.

The technician was on time, extremely professional, and easy to work with. No complaints about the work or experience. I have an older home so I am rather particular about hiring prudent electricians. I would use these guys again.

During the service line replacement, they quickly diagnosed the problem, contacted the electrical provider and stayed on the job during the disconnect / reconnect.   Technicians were friendly, professional and performed the work in an excellent manner.   Cost for the drop replacement was competitive resulting in our using them once again for an electrical inspection of a rental home.  Again, they arrived quickly, clearly explained all issues and provided options for resolving with no pressure to do unnecessary work.  The cost of service noted is for the electrical inspection.

I had lights flickering and dimming in my house all over, Centerpoint identified it as a cable on my side of the meter that was fraying and overheating.  This was two days before Christmas with family arriving the next day and a ton of things to do in my house to get ready!
After calling three other electricians who were either booked to mid-January or already closed for the holidays, Cravens was at my house within an hour, helped with getting the temporary disconnect and did the work in an hour, saving Christmas for our family!
Scott was patient and explained everything, gave me a quote upfront (no trip charge), did a thorough and efficient job.  I will definitely call them again,

It went perfectly the company came on time. I was very satisfied with the work and I would use this company again, in fact I got a couple of estimates for some future projects.
