they installed stamped concrete to the front and back of my house, did an incredible job.

They are very professional and do excellent work.

Job #1 Installed Driveway - MOST SEVERE -
The driveway is not level in numerous areas. This has resulted in several major problems inside my house.
Instead of flowing down the driveway into the street, rain water pools around the foundation and eventually seeps into my house. The standing water has caused SEVERE DAMAGE to wood flooring and cabinets inside of my house.  I've had to remove flooring in two rooms that are next to the driveway.
Job#2 Pergola (he actually has pictures of our FAULTY pergola on his website)
1) The roof on the pergola began leaking immediately after being completed.  Since then, I have had to have the roof replaced because the water continued to damage the pillars. I had 2 estimates. Both individuals stated that the roof was put on incorrectly (upside down). 
2) The Pergola was holding water because it was not built at the correct angle. So when it rained, water did not drain down the roof. Instead, it pooled on top of the already faulty roof. 
3) Damage to the cedar pillars and structure are evident due to the water damage. 
The pergola will need replacement pillars/cedar planks due to the damage to the water damage.

JOB # 3 Concrete Stamped Patio
1) Several major cracks developed in the concrete within months of installation - significant cracks are visible 
2) The "stain" came off within a few months after being installed 
3) The stamped patio is not level-causing water to sit on the porch after it rains
 Mr. Wendell Johnson was made aware of all these problems early on (months after installation) and continues put me off. 
My ex husband has noted all the times, "he will come by", and he has not.   Since then, and after two years of frustration I began calling Mr. Johnson to work on a solution. Mr. Johnson does not answer calls and his replies to my emails/texts are: ?I will go by later?.   "Later" has yet to happen. 
I am slowly repairing the damage his faulty work has caused and will seek legal counsel. 
Do not make the same mistake we made.

The owner of Concrete specialist is very friendly, very informative, and knows everything to know about cement slabs.   Some problems did occur but I would use this company again and recommend this company to others due to the amount of knowledge, honesty, quality, and extremely fair price.
Concrete specialist prices are unbeatable,  I shopped around and they are extremely fair priced!

Our daughter was getting married at our wedding venue and we needed our parking area excavated and a large circular parking pad and sidewalk poured. Wendell came out right away and gave us a very competitive bid which we accepted. He and his crew showed up on schedule and did an amazing job. All I can say is and quot;Don't Use Anyone Else!and quot;. A friend of mine that has been building homes for over 30 years saw the work and immediately asked for Wendell's phone number.

'Overall, we are very satisfied with the work performed by Wendell Johnson and his crew. While we only had a general plan for our patio, Wendell helped us refine the plan, providing useful suggestions given the size of the available space and slope of our back yard. Wendell was on site the majority of the time the work was being performed and always responded to our phone calls in a timely manner. We were impressed with his knowledge and experience regarding concrete work and would definitely recommend his company.

It went so well, and his crew was so professional that everyone who comes and sees it including my architect wants his card.

Wendell and his crew did a very good job on the concrete and on the pergola - the patio looks great. There were a few issues with the wiring for the hot tub, but this was to be expected since Wendell specializes in concrete, not electrical. We would use Wendell again in a heartbeat for concrete work.

I had then install a foundation for a room addition to an outside cabana and a brick ledge.

I also had them install colored stamped concrete all over my back yard, requiring removing some grass and making ramps to the doorways on three doors.

I had them then install stamped concrete in the front and back covering up some concrete and especially the pea gravel that hurts your feet and is hot to walk on.....

The job was done rapidly and very professionally.

My architect specifically indicated that he wanted his card because of the quality of his work.

Wendell is a man of his word and he does excellent work.

My wife is very very pleased.  "Happy wife, Happy Life"

Excellent. Owner Wendell Johnson gave us a very reasonable proposal, explained his recommendations and educated us on the issue of silicone sealers vs. wood in the expansion joints. Wendell has a stable crew of years with him and oversaw the work personally. Additional work included putting sealer in the remaining concrete joints where the concrete was OK but the wood had deteriorated. In performing the work the crew observed a cracked sprinkler system pipe under a root which they replaced. We also asked Wendell about replacing some additional sidewalk panels which he said did not need replacement - a kudo for him. The work looks great, the job was performed professionally by a nice crew. We have no hesitation in recommending him.

Wendell Johnson really knows his work and all about concrete! He enjoys what he does and it shows. Has a small crew but they work hard and get the work done. They were courteous, professional,always on time, and kept things cleaned up. Totally met all of our expectations in the finished product! Love my new stamped concrete patio !

Wendell Johnson is the owner of Concrete Specialists, and he was on top of our project from the very beginning. I called to set up an appointment and he immediately called and set up a time to come visit us. I called for several other bids before I called Concrete Specialists, but once I talked to Wendell I knew he was the one I wanted to do the project. Since I just had an idea in my mind about what I wanted, he gave me lots of ideas and information before we started. At first, I thought that I would get him to do just the concrete work, but after talking with him I felt completely comfortable with him doing the whole project. He provided me with a concrete mix design that he recommended which detailed exactly the mix of the concrete and detailed reinforcement so that the pad would be strong. He provided me addition information about trusses and sent me reading material so that I could make decisions about what I wanted. He quickly gave me an estimate and a contract that detailed everything he intended to do. He divided the contract into two parts, so that I could elect for him to do only the concrete, or do the whole project. I had three other bids on this job, and no one gave me the personal attention to details that Wendell gave. Plus, his estimate was less that the others. He was able to start when I needed him to and his crew of 5-6 people worked very hard. I was amazed at what they could accomplish in the Houston heat. They were all very professional. Wendell was here to supervise and he even pitched in and helped a lot. If there was a question, Wendell had the answer. As the project progressed, he was great at accommodating any changes that I felt necessary. He saw improvements that could be made and he made them. When the project was finished, I could not have been more pleased. We paid exactly what he had quoted me and the carport is beautiful! I would highly recommend Concrete Specialists to anyone. Wendell is a good communicator and I was able to stay in close contact with him during the whole project.
