Pest control technician quoted total price of $695.00 while it was surprising to me that he didn't include the taxes. Very nasty customer service by James "the owner". He seemed very demanding and somewhat bullying on telephone trying to receive payment of services conducted. What ever happen to businesses sending out an invoice/bill and requiring customer's to pay within a net 30? It is offensive that we live in such a hustle and bustle "got to have it now" lifestyle. I am not sure if I will ever recommend Colburns. James------ learn how to talk to your customers without being so darn rude.

My wife is immunocompromised. COVID or not, she has to be protected against any virus or bacteria. Today the tech refused to wear a mask to enter our home for an inspection. Hard to imaging why such a simple request was refused. Would it really have been such an inconvenience? No regard for others. Goodbye and good riddance.

These guys are great! They know how to get rid of mice and they are very respectful and have great manners. The company is honest and both Nick and his father are respectful, stand up guys. I can’t speak highly enough of the people and the service. Don’t waste you time with any one else. Just call these guys first.

Two men came out to remove a bird from a vent in my home. The younger man could not locate the bird. The older man tried to assist him from the inside of the house. They said that the bird must’ve left. They remedied the bird’s return by putting a screen over the vent that they thought it may used for entrance into the vent. They charged me a little over $300 and left. I could hear the bird in the vent. Later that day, the bird was chipping at the top of her lungs. I tried to contact Colburn’s via phone and email with absolutely no response. I definitely would not recommend them.

It was excellent. We've been been customer of theirs since 90's. They were always on time, very pleasant, and we've never had any problem with any kind of pests. We've had them come occasionally for squirrel, set up the cages and **** go around and make sure that pests were exterminated.

I use their service for many years like 20+ years. The service was always excellent and reasonable price. They've done termite for me treated the squirrel they've done a lot for me. They were very good. It was a small family business and you'd be comfortable with them. What was so excellent with them is that they were always or most of the time they were on time. Pretty much they were on time which is wonderful, and I like that. I will keep on using them.

Excellent all around! Customer of 20+ years. Colburn’s is dependable, timely and consistently backs up their work. Both of my homes are bug, critter and termite free year round. They are respectful of your time and of your property. Most importantly, I feel safe and comfortable when they are in my home! The team is friendly and professional. Squirrels got into my garage and were living in our ceiling. Colburn’s was able to remove them without injuring them and then sealed the entry point. I have also used Colburn’s for bee removal. Woke up one morning and there they were in an empty garbage can right outside my patio door. James Colburn was there that same day to remove the hive and the bees have never returned. It was pretty cool watching him work with the bees. Thankfully I could watch safely from behind my kitchen window.

We own three houses. Colburns pest control takes care of all three houses. Quarterly sprays, ant control and varment removal when it has been nessasary. We have been happy with them for many years.

Had to coordinate both cable company (suddenlink) and Colburns. 

Colburns arrived on Thursday and could not get cable boxs  open.  Rescheduled to Friday morning and had cable company arrive at same time.  unfortunately cable company was early and Colburns late so had to reschedule to afternoon.  Meanwhile Colburns treated my house for ants and wasps. 

I have used Colburns for many years and their treatments are always effective.  I really value their effective work.

There always seemed to be some issue.  He sprayed for roaches but we had spiders not covered by the contract,  He convinced me to stay with his service and that he would adjust the treatment for spiders.  Never worked as advertised.  He also was careless with his sprayer and more than once over sprayed onto the windows. Since these were high upon the exterior walls, cleaning them was difficult. On a couple of occasions they were late and late with a call to tell us that they were late (we already knew that to be the case).

The final straw was that he was told repeatedly NOT to service my mom's property in October unless directed and he was to receive an OK first.  We had a contract pending on the property and as it turns out it was closed on in mid October. Sure enough they went ahead and serviced it anyway and then showed up later that day at my home to collect as I was driving into my garage.  I paid Mrs. Colburn but clearly expressed my dissatisfaction. In hindsight, this was a mistake but quite frankly there was a great deal of stress settling this estate and I just did not have the emotional energy for a confrontation.

The next time I spoke with Mr. Colburn I told him of the issue.  He basically blew me off and said I'd given him the combo code so he interpreted that as an agreement to service.  What? He was extremely rude about it and clearly he somehow believes that he can simply provide service and charge for it whether or not he is authorized.

His price is cheap for a reason.  His treatments are marginally effective and again do not address spiders which are a common pest in the area.  Combined with not very prompt and sloppy work, we will never use this business again.  We like to support small business operators and gave them every chance to improve service.  The last service which was a waste of money for me and his poor and hostile response to the situation illustrates a company not worthy of my business.

The gentleman that comes out to spray is very friendly and accomodating.  They come every three months and guarantee their work within that time frame.  I do not find any bugs in my home.  There is no need to call them every three months to schedule an appointment.  They do it for you by sending a postcard with the date and time they will be there.  If it is not convenient for you, it is very easy to change the appt. with just a phone call.  This company goes the extra distance for you and I am happy to give them my business.

WE ARE NORMALLY PRETTY HAPPY WITH THE END RESULTS. I DO NOT LIKE THE FACT THAT WE ARE NOT ABLE TO SCHEDULE OUR OWN APPOINTMENTS. COMPANY SENDS OUT POSTCARDS WITH APPOINTMENTS ALREADY SCHEDULED. YOU CAN CHANGE, BUT IT DEFINITELY REQUIRES ANOTHER PHONE CALL. WE ARE HAPPY THAT THE TREATMENTS HAVE KEPT US FROM HAVING BUG PROBLEMS IN OUR HOUSE. THE TECHNICIAN WHO DOES THE TREATMENTS IS OFTEN EARLY FOR THE APPOINTMENT.
