Derek Jackson came and gave an estimate to do the work.  He asked for a $500 deposit to get his supplies.  I gave this to him because he was recommended by my realtor.  Mr. Jackson became unavailable.  He said his grandmother died and someone else was coming to do the work.  This person never came and neither did Mr. Jackson.  Mr. Jackson has since refused to refund my deposit after indicating that he would do so.  This makes Mr. Jackson a thief and unethical for taking money under false pretenses.
