"Mr. [Member Name Removed], I am going to respond to every negative review that you post on your personal vendetta against my business with the truth! You are upset because the extended warranty that you chose did not approve the repair on your water pump. Your warranty company sets the guidelines that we follow and notify you about what is a covered repair and what is not covered. Your warranty company suggested that we remove the water pump to inspect, and if the water pump had a shaft failure, then the warranty company would approve the work order to repair your water pump. But the removal and inspection was not covered by the warranty company. This removal and inspection would have to be approved and paid for by you. If the water pump had an actual failure that was covered by the contract you purchased, then the warranty company would have paid for the entire repair. When my service manager notified you that your warranty company had declined your claim, you became irritated and argumentative! You then challenged my service manager's faith and integrity. You then threatened us with dragging our name down with your negative reviews in every platform you subscribe to! You said you were even going to talk to everyone in our small community to tell them how non-Christian we are and how we have no integrity! You challenged the shop claiming that we are not Christians and we are just trying to make money off of our name! Which is absolutely the furthest thing from the truth. You sent emails last weekend with accusation directed at me! I called you this morning and tried to explain the situation concerning your extended warranty and you just grew more and more irritated! I continued to try and explain the situation, but you started to holler and challenge my personal faith and integrity again! Then you hung up! We are here to serve our customers, we are not perfect there has been a few times that my shop has fallen short As the owner I try to fix these situations quickly. Call me if you have questions Andy"
"I am the owner of Christian Brothers Automotive Space Center and League City. I take full responsibility for the gasket failure to the member's daughter's car. When he took his car to Christian Brothers in Corinth TX for warranty, they contacted us to let us know about the warranty work that needed to be performed. My Service Manager Lance contacted me and I immediately told him to authorize the warranty repair. See our inter-company warranty is paid for by the original shop not the shop doing the repair. So this warranty repair was paid for by me and my store from Christian Brothers Automotive Space Center. WE followed up with the Corinth store to verify the completion of the repair and we believed that the issue had been resolved. I have never personally talked with the member or heard a complaint from him until we received this notice from Angie’s List. The issue concerning diagnostic charges, we are very open and up front about our diagnostic fees. Our technicians work on 100% commission and are paid for the time they work on cars. This diagnostic is an earned labor fee as the technician’s research, consult with manufactures technical support bulletins and the knowledge to repair cars. We stand behind our cars with a local and nationwide warranty which he had the right to and did take advantage of! I never flinch when it comes to taking care of our customers on warranty. Concerning the spark plugs, we never touched or had reason to remove or loosen the spark plugs. So then insinuation of us leaving them loose is not a valid statement. I promise you we are not “crooked” as he stated. We work very hard to maintain our good standings in our community and I encourage you to research hour reviews on Angie’s List, Demand force and Google. In response to his request for refund, I believe that we stood behind our warranty, I believe I have taken responsibility for an unfortunate failure of a gasket on a repair. I am truly sorry for any inconvenience and take responsibility for it. I hope our good standing will be supported by our willingness to warranty his automobile in an acceptable amount of time.
