Chandra Stone Interior Design

I found Chandra to be overwhelmed with her current workload and unable to give my job the attention it deserved. Many times I was left asking for updates. After two months I still didn't have quotes on any of my work. I cancelled my contract.

Chandra took an impossibly small 1960's kitchen and turned it into a very functional modern design. After our initial consultation she came up with several designs that almost worked for us. We were able to make design changes via email and she sent a pdf of the new ideas within a matter of a day or two. I would recommend her unquestionably to anyone looking to have a kitchen designed or any other interior design project.

It was so far over budget that I just dropped the plans mid-way- I drew some cabinets for my kitchen for her. Part of it she was good at (millwork) but for the space planning, we discussed what I wanted to keep but she didn't draw my furniture to scale, it didn't fit and exceeded the cost. She dropped off drawings one night and talked the whole time about her hobbies and clients for2 hrs then I was billed at $90/hr for that visit. She didn't listen very well. Nice lady but wouldn't hire again. She was just talking about her hobbies and clients so nothing completely related to our business transaction. She kept billing me and even wrote down notes on how much it would cost for the project before we began then it ended up way over budget.

I interviewed several other designers and she stood out from all of them. She is the most extraordinary designer I have ever had. She is very professional and extremly talented. I gave her an impossible schedule to meet and she met it on time! I will use her for many years to come.

I did not buy the property that I needed design help with so I did not use Chandra Stone's professional services.

For those of you who may be avid HGTV watchers, you know how extraordinary the space planning designs can be. Well, Ms. Stone has not only fulfilled my expectations, she has superceded them. We collaborated on the space plans for my masterbath and den/kitchen area. I was flabbergasted at the results. I cannot wait until we begin the decorating portion of our project. She is GREAT!!!!
