They gave excellent advice, telling me that it wold be cheaper to buy a new camera rather than fix the old one, and told me where to go to buy it! I appreciated their frankness.

I walked into the shop and there was a customer being helped so of course I listened to the conversation. The shop worker was an older man who sounded very knowledgeable so that made me feel good about having picked this shop. When the other customer was done and it was my turn I asked about my camera. Unfortunately my camera was not repairable as it would have been too expensive and not worth the effort, but I was happy that the man was being honest with me and at least I now know I can put it aside and I will definitely use this place if I run into another problem and will recommend it as a good place to do business with..

Really good experience - great experience from beginning to end!

They took the lens, called the next day with an a price. Advised it would be ready in approximately 1 week. Called within the time frame and had completed repairs for the quoted price. Repair cost was 50% of replacement cost, so made sense to complete the repair.

Job was quoted at 3 day turnaround, but was done the next day! Cleaning was done perfectly. I was advised that the correct price for cleaning the full size CCD was higher than the price they quoted over the phone, but they only charged me the lower price. They seem to do good work, but the price for a simple CCD cleaning is at the top end of the range I expect to pay elsewhere.

On September 12, 2009, I took my Kodak Easy Shot camera to the Camera Care Center. I was told that the battery compartment door needed to be replaced and that the repair would only take a week. I arrived at the store a week later to be told that the repair was not complete. No explanation was given as to why the repair was not done. Advised to call in another week, I waited 10 days and then called. The employee said he would need to check the status of the repair and would call me back. After a week, I still had not received a return call. I called a second time and the employee said the repair was still not complete but would be ready in 3 days. 5 days later I went to Camera Care Center determined to retrieve the camera whether it was fixed or not. The employee at the front desk said that the camera was still not fixed but talked me out of taking my camera home by promising it would be fixed by the weekend. That week, I called only to learn that the camera was not fixed but that the part needed for the repair had arrived and the camera would be fixed in 2 days. I was told that I would be called within a day for an update on the status of the repair. No one called. After a few days, I returned to the store to get my camera only to learn that it was still not fixed. Long story short: after weeks of delay, not having phone calls returned, or a reasonable explanation for why it was taking so long for the repair, finally, the camera was ready on October 21. I immediately went to the store to get it and was charged full price for the repair.

I used to work at Wolf Camera and I found that there camera center often let people down. I had been recommending people to Camera Care Center for YEARS...Before i actually got a chance to see how excellent their work is. They staff was very friendly and they really helped me out because i had to get my flash fixed fast. Thank you Camera Care Center.

Received a free estimate which was done promptly. Repair was also done promptly and we were notified when the work was done. Camera works fine now.
