For some unknown reason we were unable for about a year to view PBS Channel 8. Obviously, we could live without it but we finally got around to getting the problem fixed. We read most favorable reviews about the owner and his company--Bert Berthelot of Cable Busters. He arrived promptly, assessed the situation and explained it all to us. We are happy to have PBS back in our TV world and will certainly call on Bert again if the need arises. He was kind, amiable, and very efficient and we highly recommend him if you have problems with electronics!

Installation from Bert at Cable Busters went very well he replaced a tv antenna and Booster and replaced cable from antenna to house at no coast to me for I was having some signal problems from Pryor installation I feel he was caring to take care of my issue I don't think any one else would do that and that's why I am giving Bert a 5 star rating and I would recommend Cable Busters to everyone who wants to cut the cable and save money.

They ran the new cable, added cable to an additional room and hooked up a booster. They told me my old antenna was great. They straightened a few bends, redirected an anchored it. I get amazing reception! They could easily have sold me a new antenna, I wouldn't have known the difference. I appreciate honesty in business. Would definitely recommend and will hire again if needed.

Bert and William did an excellent job. From the first call through installation they were professional and informative. They knew what we needed, the best position for the antenna and how to work with our existing setup. They positioned the antenna so it is virtually unseeable. We are extremely happy with the antenna's reception and the picture quality. We also felt they provided value for money. We highly recommend them.

What a great service!! Tried the antenna in multiple locations to achieve the best reception. When reception degraded a couple of weeks later, they came back out and corrected the problem. We couldn't be happier with their work product and honesty. If you want to get away from the cable company, we highly recommend these guys. The ‘install’ went very well. The number of channels we can receive with the new attic antenna doubled over the antenna we had in our living room. The two Cable Busters technicians were very respectful of my wife, myself and to our home. After the in-attic antenna was installed and tested, the two Cable Busters techs stayed and answered all of my questions . . . and even promised to research an additional question. The whole experience was awesome . . . I would highly recommend Cable Busters.

I decided to 'cut the cord' and these guys did a turn key job. They supplied all equipment and accessories. They installed a rooftop antenna, Amazon DVR, and Firesticks on 4 TVs. They moved and mounted two TVs. They helped me find a streaming service I hadn't even considered - and it provided all the channels I wanted at only $60 / month. They saved me over $100 / month. They patiently explained everything to me and showed me how to work everything. Easy to work with, very conscientious, great problem solvers. Highly recommend.

CableBusters went to my mother’s house to covert her from cable and save her hundreds of dollars on her cable and land line bill. They were very patient with her and explained how to get to the local channels and back to streamining channels. Great people, great service!

These guys are talented in more than just antenna installation. They are well versed in getting all the components necessary to cut the cable, including streaming devices options, TV mounting on a wall with limited space, OTA (over the air) options, and much more. Work was handled promptly and quickly. William returned twice to answer my questions regarding TiVo and to extend the optical cord on my head-phones. William and Burt are great guys to work with.

It went superbly! They arrived on time and proceeded to connect all the equipment up. They set up all of my accounts, ensured that the devices were working and completed the install in a timely manner. I had some issues after they left, and they came back and determined that my wifi router might be too far away. They even ordered an extra long Ethernet cable so we could test out that issue before I purchased a wifi repeater. The issue went away on it's own - almost as if the Internet provider was not working well that week. Then, I had another issue where the equipment seemed dead altogether. Once again, this company came out, free of charge, and determined that my equipment somehow became unplugged (most likely by my kittens)! I would highly recommend this company! I'm very happy to finally be free of cable and phone with Comcast. We'll make back the costs of installing the antenna, DVR, modem, and Ooma within a year, and will save money after that. I've been wanting to do something like this for a long time, and am positively allergic to having to figure out all this tech stuff myself. I know some people love it, but it is not something I enjoy at all. It was great to be able to work with someone who knew how to accomplish what we wanted, and who took care of it. After installing everything, I've still had some questions as we learn how to use what we now have, and Bert responds quickly to me.

Call Cut the Cord: 225-241-6387 I stopped my cable service last November. I was paying $200 with a Comcast bundle: phone, cable, & Internet. The cost of my new services is now 68.95. That includes two streaming channels (CBS All Access $9.99 and Hulu $12.73 with no commercials). In the beginning I paid for Sling TV (Orange plan $20 + $5 to record), but now I have found other channels which have the same shows and without costing anything. Bert and William, who did all the work for me, are awesome, hardworking, knowledgeable, and extremely patient. They do all the consulting, planning, installing, etc. and they are always available for questions or anything extra you want done. Their service doesn't end when the installation is complete. They have continued to be available whenever needed. Personally, the way I relax is in front of the television. With Comcast, I was DVR-ing about 30 shows or more at a time. With Cut the Cord, I now get every single channel I used to get except for Fox News (live programs) and rumor has it that they will soon be available to stream. Bravo just recently offered internet streaming and other new channels are often cropping up for streaming. Bert & William did every single thing I asked, including buying me two new televisions (for a very reasonable cost with no additional fees), changing out my phone system, finding a good price for my Internet service, and they also had the patience of saints. I asked them for several miracles and each time they came through with upbeat attitudes and technical intelligence and fast, hardworking dedication. I know I couldn't have found any other business even half as good as Cut the Cord. They were amazing. They not only did terrific work at a fair price, but they asked questions to make sure I had everything to make my technical life stress-free. It is obvious that Cut the Cord truly wants their customers to be happy. Now, after having Cut the Cord for three months, I've become more familiar with the thousands of programs available and have the option of recording them, plus I've discovered many new shows to enjoy and record. Thankfully, I also found out how to avoid commercials on the channels that have ads. I am a member of Amazon Prime for free shipping, so I don't have to pay any extra for their Prime streaming services. I've also been a Netflix streaming customer for several years so there was no new cost when I switched to Cut-the-Cord. The end result? I'm very, very thankful to have left Comcast and I won't miss their Customer Service at all! Cut the Cord has provided me with more choices than I ever thought imaginable. It's truly unbelievable. NOTE: If I can learn how to use the new television system, anyone can! Seriously!

In short, very well. Arrived on time. Did the work quickly and professionally. Honestly, I'm not a typical customer of theirs. I live in Houston, only 8 miles away from the TV towers. So, a basic cheap indoor antenna suffices -- most of the time. Occassionally, I would have to adjust the thing to get good reception. But, not usually a big issue. Even so, I have 20 people coming over for the Super Bowl and I don't want to have to potentially have an issue. Getting their antenna is probably overkill, but, I'm sure I won't have any problem. They typically roof mount. And can reuse old dish mounts if you have one. I actually had two old unused dishes on my roof. So he removed both dishes. But reused the mount on the higher dish. Roof looks a lot less cluttered now. They use an antenna of their own design. Typically TV antennas are omnidirectional so you don't have to worry about pointing them. And you might live in an area where the TV towers are in different directions. But, in Houston, they are all in the same general direction, so their antenna is directional and they point it in the direction of the towrers. He said I now can receive about 140 channels. Of course most of them are junk. But, even so, some of them may be worth watching occassionally. I didn't get their DVR. I mainly watch streaming services anyway. Though perhaps I might want to get a DVR at some point. For example, FOX doesn't let you stream the new X-Files if you don't have cable and I don't have cable. So, I haven't been able to watch the new X-Files. And more shows might be like that in the future. So, probably I'll need the DVR at some point. But I already spent over a grand for my party this year. (The new antenna, new chairs, house pressure wash cleaning services, etc.) So, I decided not to get the DVR yet.

I can not be happier with my experience with Cut the Cord Now! I have been needing to reduce my expenses and should have done this earlier! I had been wanting to get rid of my high satellite subscription. After my bill went up, yet again, and not getting relief from my provider, I saw Bert's segment on KHOU and on Facebook. I was taken by his knowledge of services. I messaged him asking his opinion on what I needed to do. He was responsive, asked questions as to what I wanted and VERY knowledgeable about equipment that would provided me with the channels I liked for free as well as services that would provided me with extras at a MUCH lower price. What a BLESSING! He also helped me reduce my phone bill by transferring my landline to an internet (VoIP) service thus reducing that bill as well! Bert and William came to my house to install the equipment and set up my services, both are very professional and nice as can be! Bert continues to answer questions that I have.
