Replaced with quality Amana A/C, furnace, and air cleaner. Spent plenty of time in advance doing measurements and preparations. Arrived on day of install with all equipment and completed the entire job in one day, leaving us with working A/C for that night. Added extra insulation on lines, all new breaker box, registers, kill switches and drip pan. Costs a little more than some outfits, but if you are like me and you want quality work that will last, then this is the company to choose. I am very satisfied with the professional work that was done.

Very impressed. On time. Very knowledgeable. Gave advise without being a "pushy salesman". Never felt like I was getting pressured into unnecessary work. It was a pleasure working with Robert and will use him again. Found out after the fact numerous of my neighbors have used him. Awesome company !!!

Robert, Bob and the rest of the team did a fantastic job! Very professional.
We had another A/C company (that we were under contract with) come the day before and we were not satisfied with their responses to our questions. We called Burnett (family and us have used them with complete satisfaction in the past) for their assessment. Much more responsive to our questions and several thousand dollars cheaper than the other quote received for a substantially better unit and more work (filter box, UV light, electrical upgrades).
They even answered my 7 year old son's questions without hesitation and gave him a flashlight when they were done.
All work was completed in one day.
These guys did a fantastic job and I can't recommend them enough.

The AC was not cooling enough and it was running almost continuously. I called Robert and we made arrangements for him to come the next day (I called in the evening). I was the second appointment and he thought he would be here between noon and 2. He called to tell me that the earlier customer's job was running long and he'd be there before 4 p.m. He came about 3:30 and got straight to work.
He examined the outside and inside parts of the AC and found that the outside was a little low on freon. He cleaned the outside unit and then examined the attic, He found that whoever had installed or repaired it last (before I bought the house) had used tape and inadequate materials to construct the transition. He showed me pictures of the transition in it's current state.
He also determined that, unrelated to the problem I was having, my air return unit was undersized for the size of the house and the AC unit. He told me that he could install new grills and enlarge the return.
He had Walter come and do the sheet metal work to create the new transition. It was getting late and we agreed that Walter would return on Saturday to put in the two 20and quot; x 20and quot; grills.
They look great, the air is cool and the humidity is back where it should be, the AC kicks off more than it has in a long time and the larger air return makes for a quieter time when the AC is running.
I'd recommend Robert to anyone who wants quality work done.

I have hired Robert Burnett and his son Robert, Jr., many times over the past several years and I wouldn't use anyone else. They are knowledgeable, trustworthy, honest, and respectful of me and my properties. Burnett A/C has installed and maintained my heating and air units in multiple properties. They are prompt and professional. They are the type of contractors you hope for but rarely get. They are certainly not the cheapest but I can always count on them to give me the best advice based on their experience. I also purchase custom sized A/C filters from them by the case. I would highly recommend them.

Received a call from Walter prior to arrival at the house. Was very professional, walked through what was needed and received quote. Began work right away, and actually did many additional things in order to complete the job.

I paid them a little under $6000. They were great. They have always given me an excellent service when I needed it at a very fair and competitive price. The company comprises of a father and his son who were my husband's neighbors for several years. I saw one of their trucks yesterday on the road as a matter-of-fact. They were very nice people. They were good and very professional. The system that they put in for me was absolutely wonderful. It saved me on my energy bills and it was a better air conditioning circulation

I purchased a pre-owned home and had the air system checked/repaired by Mr Burnett - A team of three performed the work (whatever it was, I was just having the units cheched as a precautionary measure)on the two units - the units were functioning. When problems occurred later I was informed that I should have replaced the unite because they were old. THAT should have been addressed BEFORE I paid to do whatever to the units that were in place.

"We try to please everyone but occasionally regardless of how hard we try someone is unhappy. Originally we informed the member that we found numerous A/C & heat problems, with the majority of them having to do with how the two systems were incorrectly installed and poorly maintained. The member was informed by us that neither system was put in to code, no city permits were pulled, and the performance of the systems was questionable. My first suggestion was one system with new ducts with zone control because of how the house is laid out. The member was told in detail how we could solve all the problems with a complete (one system) system installed to code. She said she did not have the money and wanted us to do what we could to make things right. We gave her a detailed estimate of the more important issues and made those repairs and corrections with her approval. We also offered the member replacement of two systems but told her the one system would be "a better buy". We never told her that the existing two systems (nothing was new) would never need repair. We will not put pressure on people to spend money on their A/C and heat system, but we will always make recommendations to change their system when it makes sense. We did recommend to the member to upgrade and replace her entire two systems with one zoned system (the same EWC zoning system that I have in my own home). We would also like to point out that we did this work in 2006, but the member waited until 2010 to complain to Angie's List, and we were not even aware of this until 2011 when Angie's List contacted us for a happier customer that had written a 2011 review."

I came home from a trip on a Sunday night and found my A/C was not working. I picked them off of the list and called them and got a recorder. I asked them to call me in the morning, which they did. Robert Burnett was at my house at 9:00 a.m. He inspected the system and gave me two options. He could fix the immediate problem for about $500, or replace the system entirely. He fully explained everything. He did not pressure me either way. Because my system was more than 20 years old, I decided to replace it. They started right away and finished at 4:00 p.m. The workers (who I think included his son) were very professional and courteous. I did not get other bids, however, I was told by my co-workers that the price was at least competitive.

This was the first time I had used their services. They were very good. He was very communicative. We have low access attics and they crawled in there even though it was hot and restrictive. They were very thorough and have a good price. They also back up their work and follow up on it.

I called to have them diagnose my AC. They were very professional. They came when they said that they would. Mr. Burnett Jr throughly checked my system and fixed the problem. They not only performed the work needed, but cleaned and checked the entire system. The upgrade of the starter kit has really helped the performance of my AC and I am very thankful that he suggested that I have the old one replaced.

Selected Burnett after receiving 3 bids to do work on a/c system. He was the least expensive and explained to my satisfaction what he planned to do. They arrived at 7 am and finished at 6 pm. Extremely professional worked non stop all day. Installed gravel pit for the a/c drain at no charge. Sprayed the heating vent coming out of the roof black just because it looked better. We will have Burnett do semi annual maintenance on the HVAC in both buildings.

They were just so good. I have a contract with them on the HVAC unit now. The personnel who were here were professional and courteous. They cleaned up so well that you could never tell they were here.

AC unit kept causing a breaker to throw so the unit would blow but not cool. There was an argument between my electrician and the original AC contractor as to what was causing the problem. The other AC contractor finally installed a booster and the problem seemed to be corrected, but then recurred a few weeks later. I called the original contractor who again blamed the breaker. After consulting people who know more than I do about electricity, I called Burnett after receiving a high personal recommendation. He upgraded the booster to a heavy duty one and cleaned the outside unit which was packed with grass clippings (three prior visits by the other contractor and this was not done). I then had him install an air handling unit. Robert was highly professional and very helpful. I will use him always in the future.

Robert Burnett and his crew were thoroughly professional all the way, from the estimate and explanation of same in both technical terms (I am an engineer) and layman's terms, to the removal of old equipment, to installation of new equipment, testing, balancing of air flow, and cleanup. The city inspector said it was the best work he had seen. Burnett will never be your cheapest estimate, but will always give you the best possible job. Robert easily talked me into a couple of minor upgrades that made perfect sense. The overall price was high, but fair value for the extremely high quality work.

I am satisfied with the work. The project started as scheduled and was definitely finished on time as well. Everything has been going great so far. It was only a short time ago, so I definitely have not come across any repairs yet. The workers were very nice and very respectful. They talked and explained things to me. They also told me what to watch out for as well.

There is not too much I can tell you about my experience. Everything went fine then and it still going fine now. I have no problems with the furnace. It seems to be working perfectly. It is not cold in my home when I run it and I even have it set on 65. I feel that I chose a wise company to do this job for me and I would not have a problem hiring them again.

Burnett Heating and Air Conditioning does a really good job. If they didn't provide quality service, I would not have continued to use them for the past fifteen years. They are very reliable and dependable. They always explain what they are doing and if there is a problem with anything, they have always been able to make any necessary repairs.

I FELT WELL TAKEN CARE OF AND WELL INFORMED ABOUT THE DIFFERENT CHOICES I HAD TO MAKE ABOUT MODELS, ETC. HE IS VERY TRUSTWORTHY AND RELIABLE AND I CAN ALWAYS COUNT ON HIM WHENEVER I HAVE A PROBLEM. ONCE I CALLED HIM IN A PANIC BECAUSE THE A/C WASN'T WORKING AND IT WAS MID-SUMMER. HE CALLED ME BACK RIGHT AWAY AND THE FIRST THING HE DID WAS SUGGEST THAT I CHECK THE CIRCUIT BREAKERS...WHICH WAS EXACTLY THE PROBLEM! HE HAS SAVED ME THE COST OF A HOUSE CALL MORE THAN ONCE. HE AND HIS PEOPLE ARE VERY RESPECTFUL OF MY PROPERTIES AND ALWAYS LEAVE THEIR WORK AREAS CLEAN AND DEBRIS FREE. VERY POLITE AND WELL TRAINED TEAM. THEIR SERVICES ARE NOT CHEAP, BUT WELL WORTH IT.
