I was very pleased with the service of this company. I would recommend them to anyone. They make sure to answer all of your questions. I thought that the workers were on time and friendly. They did not take long to finish the work either. The price was reasonable as well.
Description of Work: The old air conditioning unit was not working properly, and we needed it replaced. This company came and installed a new air conditioning unit outside of my two bedroom home. I am not sure of the square footage of the home though. They connected everything inside and outside of the house as well.

We are no longer happy with them. We had used them for years and years and we really liked our regular technician, Danny. Unfortunately, he moved out of town and the new guy they sent out wasn't nice at all. He tried to force us into a new unit when we wanted to use the old one until it could not be fixed. He would not take no for an answer. We thought he was ordering parts but a lady from the office called the next day to say they were on the way with my new unit. We never ordered one I told her. I felt the technician tried to take advantage of us because of our age and get a big job out of us instead of a small repair job which is what they got.
Description of Work: Buffington Air Conditioning Company repaired our air conditioning unit.They had to replace some pan like part that had rusted out.

They did a very good job installing our unit. Our unit is still working just the same as it did back when they installed it. I think it was installed almost two years ago. Our system is efficient and cools my home down quite quickly in the summer. I enjoy having it. I do not know what it cost me since it has been so long ago.
Description of Work: I had a new air conditioning unit installed by Buffington Air about two years ago. I have an average-sized 3 bedroom home.

We were very surprised with how fast they had our new system installed for us. We thought for sure it was going to take a lot longer of a time than it did. We have nothing but good things to say about the professionalism of the people we have dealt with in this company. They made sure we knew exactly how to operate the system before they left.
Description of Work: Buffington Air Conditioning installed a new outdoor 13 SEER electric heat pump with central air in our home.

Both AC guys were on time, and were very polite and helpful. I was charged $58 for the diagnostic consultation. Unfortunately, they could not or were unwilling to do the service that I wanted.
Description of Work: My air conditioning system was not draining properly. Warren came out and took a look at the system, and agreed that I needed a new drain pan. He called a different guy out (name?), who said that he could not get me a drain pan, and that the only way to fix the drainage was to replace the whole system. This is a very expensive alternative to what I had in mind, so I will keep looking.

We've been happily using their service for over 20 years. We have never had a complaint or problem with them. I like that we never have to wait on them. When I call, they come out right away & get to work on the problem. I don't know about the costs, as my husband takes care of that.
Description of Work: Buffington's serviced our heater & air conditioner, & has performed repairs & replacements in the past.

THEY WERE ON TIME. THE MAN FINISHED HIS WORK IN LESS THAN 1/2 HOUR. HE WAS COURTEOUS AND THOROUGH.
Description of Work: WE HAD A PROBLEM WITH THE AIR CONDITIONER NOT COOLING VERY WELL. THEY CHECKED THE EVAPORATOR AND CHECKED THE SYSTEM. THE SYSTEM WAS LOW ON FREON. THEY ADDED THE PROPER AMOUNT OF FREON AND IT STARTED TO COOL IMMEDIATELY.
