I found Matt, Owner of Bright Lights of Houston, on Angie's List about 1 year ago.  I am a House Manager for a large home in Pearland, Texas.  We needed someone knowledgeable on landscape lighting and irrigation.  I feel like we hit the Jackpot in finding Matt and his company.  He has done 3 separate additions of Landscape lights with projects totally, $11,240.00, $8844.03, and now completing a current project of $7051.41.  In between these projects, he has helped with a our irrigation issues, as well. Not only is he very knowledgeable about landscape lights and irrigation systems, but very knowledgeable about floral gardens, trees, and plants.  I have found him and his crew to be very professional, nice to work with and thorough in his work.  He has even given us extra services that he did not charge for.  In my line of work, finding great vendors that are trustworthy and do great work are a huge asset; they make my job so much easier and Matt of Bright Lights of Houston is that kind of vendor. I highly recommend him and Bright Lights of Houston for any of your lighting or irrigation needs.

The crew arrived on time, let me know when they arrived, and immediately got to work. They completed the job quickly, and I was very impressed with their level of professionalism. They were respectful of our property and paid attention to detail. They went above and beyond my expectations and transformed our home for the holidays. I was in love with the end result! We called them for a service call once, and they were out the next day! They removed our lights promptly in early January. Again, they were on time and worked efficiently. They stored our lights for us, and we NEVER had to worry about it. I will absolutely be entrusting my holiday decor to them year after year, and I highly recommend their services. We have used this service for several years. We schedule a date and a professional crew shows up and installs our lights. They are always punctual and fast. They do an excellent job! Then, after Christmas they take the lights down and store them for us. So nice!!

We schedule a day for installation. A crew shows up, hangs the lights according to previous directions. They are always fast, efficient and professional. Then, after Christmas they show up and take it all down. I don't have to hear anymore complaining about putting up lights! It's a huge stress reliever!!

We were very impressed with this service.  They came when they promised and did an excellent job.  We are using them again this year.

They are an awesome organization! The initial investment in quality LED lights may be a little shocking, but the quality of lights and the professionalism of Matt and the team at BL is amazing! I would NOT hesitate to use them for holiday lighting; in fact, we are planning on getting them to bid out our outdoor lighting on our home as well!

It went very well. They did exactly the job that they described. The lights look great and we have not had any issues with the quality of the lights or the way they were installed. Live in the Galleria area and the lights they put up look better than many of the other houses that were professionally done.

They were fast, professional, and easy to work with.  It was a bit more expensive that I was hoping for.

Bright Lights had a 10% discount coupon on Angie?s List for lights installed before November 7th.  Sarah came out on October 1st and gave me an estimate of $2403.15.  I decided to go with that estimate and asked about the 10% discount.  She said she forgot to put the $120 power pack in the estimate and so she would not charge me for it and they would make up for the remainder.  The bill, including the power pack and less the sales tax came to $2340.  I think that is a 10% discount of $234, not $120.  When I asked about this, they requested that I send them their coupon code, which is no longer on Angie?s List.  I have enlisted Angie?s List for help.  I feel like I will be scammed out of the remainder of my discount.
 
They installed the lights before November 7th and here we are at November 30th and the lights still have problems.  They have not come out to set up the timer for the lights, more lights are falling off my house, one of the wreaths is not working and there are glue drops on my kitchen windows which is not a pretty site from inside the house.
From the Service and Installation Details sheet: "Bright-Lights will make weekly checks on all illumination and repair any damage or outages throughout the Holiday Season."  They have not adhered by that promise and I am very disappointed with this company.

The first major concern was the coupon issue. This has since been resolved. However, there are now further complications. This company when taking down my lights has damaged electrical outlets and plugs. It appears maybe something was stuck in there and pried out. Also, I still have glue on my windows and stairs from when they hung the decorations. I would like to be fixed. Also, this company has taken the lights from me which I purchased they just help put up.

Showed up on time. completed work as quoted. Was very detailed and knowledgeable of the product line and we felt comfortable with the design given to us prior to installation. There was not any hidden charges. the finished look was better than anticipated.

The professionals at Bright Lights came to the rescue after a subpar lighting company came and made a mess of my decorations. The previous company left with my fuses popping with lights going out seemingly randomly. They also trampled all of my flowers and plants in my front flower beds. Bright Lights came and not only fixed the short in the wire created by the previous company, but also repaired my flower bed so that my house and yard looked great during the day as well as at night.
