Mr. Craig Blanchard and his company did a poor job of our home remodel. He uses sub-contractors that are not very skilled and not meticulous. We have had to call him back many times to fix problems that was not done correclty during the initial remodel. The workmanship is poor, and the attention to detail is non-existant. Everything looks like it's done in a rush and the materials he uses are cheap. Mr. Blanchard will come up with excuses on why he should not come back to fix the problem. We have had plumbers, electricans, HVAC companies come to our home to say that the work done was incorrect. However, when we contact Mr. Blanchard, he will state that these companies are wrong and have no idea what they are talking about. He is very reluctant to come fix the problems that his workers created. Mr. Blanchard will also take advantage of customers and charge a much higher price than the quality of the work done. For the price he charges, the workmanship should be a 10 out of 10, however, it's more a 3 out of 10. He will use the cheapest materials that he can find. Rather than spend an extra $20 and make something look nicer, he will use the cheap material and pocket the savings. I would not use this company again.

Blue Diamond Construction Company on Bamwood in Houston Owner Craig BlanchardBe very aware of who you are dealing with here. His politeness is a ploy. Contracted Craig to clean my travertine floor. After they finished the floor was streaked and had spots that were not there to start with. They had no idea of what had happen, they brought in someone else to work on the floor and no improvement. He had my house torn up for over 4 months. As it turned out he used a product called CLR. The authorities on the web say that CLR will ruin your floor. Contacted several floor companies locally and all said the same thing. When I broached the subject with Craig he dug his heels in and said he used it all the time with no problem. That does not make it right. He would not did not take responsibility. It cost 1600 dollars to fix what he created as a problem. The floor is now beautiful no thanks to him. Be aware of this company and how they treat people. He will be a polite as he can be on the phone and will apologize at every delay, but those are just words.

They did good quality work, on the work they actually did. He wasn't very professional. He didn't work with us very well. If there was an issue that I thought was a part of the contract, and he didn't, we would argue about that. In terms of the business and budget part it wasn't very good. In terms of the quality of the work, it was good.

Blue Diamond Construction did a fine job remodeling my kitchen. They were very personable. I would recommend them to anyone who can afford them. Their prices were a little expensive, but I didn't mind paying for quality work. I wanted it to be perfect and they came pretty close to perfection.
