Blinds.com

Ordered May 5. They claimed it shipped May 12, FEDEX. FEDEX said they never received. No more info online - tried calling. No more info in there phone system. Tried to get a person. Got a message that said, "Thank you for calling. Goodbye." Same thing two more times. Finally on June 10 they sent an email that the order had been cancelled. No explanation. Waiting for refund.

After spending over $4000 on blinds, I was simply shorted 1 stupid 6" wand... should not be a big deal. After waiting 3 weeks, they sent 2-12" wands....still an inconvenience...but bo big deal. Caleld and waited 15 mins for the biggest jerk to answer and get mand...kept saying "I will send you a 12 FOOT (yes) foot wand. "Dude, the window is 21 1/2" x 21 1/2".... He was could not comprehend inches vs feet, then got mad at me Regret buying here. Way too much work. I was going to use them for my vacation rental...nope Too many other choices out there

(1) Ordered 2 vertical blinds 7Dec23, shipped 14Dec (2) Estimated delivery 27Dec (2 weeks) - trucker took just under 5 weeks from TX to FL (a 3-day drive)! (3) Online tracking was useless - no current info uploaded. Blinds.com offered NO help. Truck line was no more useful - their tracking system gave no info. (4) Why not use UPS, Fed Ex, USPS, etc. (like Amazon, Walmart, Costco, etc.) - no intelligent answer. (5) Shipped my 2 blinds (longest headrail 6' 7 1/4") in 12'-LONG BOX when 6' 7" would do! (6) Truck line delivered to my door, didn't ring bell, just left the 12' long box leaning against my front door so I couldn't open door. (7) This was a frustrating, horrible experience. CANNOT RECOMMEND THEM - BEWARE!

BUYER BEWARE. This company is awful. Jason on the design/sales was great at first, but once the sale was complete he dropped the ball multiple times. My original estimated delivery was 8/1/23 but because of Jason's lack of response, professionalism and follow through, I have STILL yet to receive my order as of 9/14/23. The order was placed on 7/11/23. In fact, I was told by customer service today that the order still hasn't even gone through, yet my credit card has been charged and paid for. I have called in requesting to talk to a supervisor and am never contacted by one nor is one ever available when I call. Don't waste your time, energy and frustration with the company.

we received the custom bamboo shade in March 2014. By July 2014 the pull cord on the shade was broken. It appeared that the pull cord , there were two , broke due to the weight of the blind being too heavy for the very thin cord used to pull it up and down. I called Customer Service and they were very responsive. After some haggling and back and forth with the manufacturer of the blind , this took two weeks, it was agreed that a new blind would be made. I waited 30 days. And the blind finally arrived at my home. My husband and I were installing the blind when we noticed that the slot to connect the blind to the bracket in the window frame was covered by the pull mechanism. The pull mechanism had been mounted in the wrong space on the wood mounting board. I immediately called Blinds.com and that it where my true dissatisfaction started. I was passed around thru customer service, told I now had to send back the original blind and the broken one. This was no problem except I had no packing to put the original blind in. I asked for a refund and was told I would get one once the vendor got the blinds back. But I had to wait for the vendor to decide on how they wanted the blinds returned . For a week I emailed and called customer service to get an answer from the vendor about the return. I was not given an answer until I threatened action against them. I was finally given the information that Fedex would pick up the blinds from my home. Once they picked up the blinds...a week later, I got a confirmation of the refund for the original cost of the blind. Just a note...the blind was beautiful and the correct size and customized as I requested, it was the workings of the blind that are substandard. The initial customer service was great..it was when a problem developed that the customer service fell apart. I will not recommend this company to anyone and will not use them again.

It was very good. The measurements he gave were accurate. They gave us a competitive price. I would use this provider again in the future.

I have used them repeatedly and find them to be very reputable. Some of the blinds were motorized and work well. Whenever I have had a problem, they have fixed it. Even though it's an internet company, they have quick delivery and insure the blinds will fit.

This is a company that does everything right!! We have ordered from Blinds.com before and needed some additional privacy shades for our screened porch. (We previously had ordered indoor shades and some shades for our porch and are very happy with them...even after 3 years). When I called to place my order, the sales representative was very helpful in isolating exactly what I wanted to match a previous order (in their records). I only had to measure the size of the openings and they did all the rest. The shades were custom made to the provided dimemsions and arrived in a very fast 5 or 6 days. I was quite impressed with the pleasant service representative and even more so with the quality of the shades. I wrote a quick thank you note to the sales representative by email and I actually received a reply from the head of customer service. That is unheard of these days.
So, from beginning to end, Blinds.com does it right...and perfectly. My sales representative even found a discount promotion for me that saved me about $20. All I had to do was ask. For anyone who needs shades and can put them up themselves, Blinds.com just can't be beaten as far as quality, service and friendly staff. 10 gold stars for Blinds.com. Would I plan to order from Blinds.com again?

Their prices are unbelievably good. If your measurement is wrong, they'll send you another with a proper measurement. And, you can have all the samples you want to be sent to you for no cost at all.

If the measurements were incorrect, and the blinds wouldn't have fit, we would have been able to get them replaced at no extra cost.

They were really great. Their patience was tremendous and they really listened to my needs. They also gave me lots of suggests and asked questions to make sure I was ordering the best products based on what I wanted. I also found their professionalism to be wonderful. The company that they recommended to do the installation was great as well.

I have had nothing but positive experience with Blinds.com and would recommend this site for window treatments. If you do not understand something about installing or measuring, just watch the video and you can see it really is quite easy. Don't be impatient with yourself if this is the first time you are trying to do this. Measure the windows as they state, and the company allows for the proper amount of deduction for installation. Feel free to call them and ask if you have any questions, they really are a customer SERVICE. Compare prices on national brands and their own brand, the quality is pretty much the same. Remember to ask for left or right wands/cords, however you want them placed, and top or side mounts on the windows. Also make sure you have the amount of wood for proper mount, they give you the specs for different sizes.

It cost me about $400 for their services. The blinds are outrageous and expensive. I gave them the measurements and they made it according to my dimensions. They were right on. They all fit and they went in very easily. I did the installation. They were sent to me in the mail. I have got no complaints except I wish they were cheaper. I really don't know about the prices since I didn't do much comparison; so their price was average. When it comes to their quality, the blinds are pretty well made. There were no disappointments in the way they were constructed. It was all through the internet and I didn't really speak to anybody.

We ordered are blinds prior to our home being built to ensure they would arrive in time; since we were furnishing all of the windows in our home. After our home was finished and we moved in we began installing our blinds. There were 4 blinds that in the close position left a big enough gap where you could see through. I contacted the company immediately and spoke with a customer sales associate who was very rude to say the least. She ensured me that my blinds would be fixed and she would call me the next day. I heard nothing after that. I called again @ 7/30/11 as well as followed up with an e-mail. I was told that another individual would be contacting me and that they wanted to send someone out to pick up the blinds and have them repaired. These are new blinds I should not have to have a new item repaired. This is not something that is used. They should replace them with new blinds. I have never heard of repairing something that you receive that is suppose to be brand new! Whenever I have purchased items from other stores that were defected etc. they always replaced or exchanged it with a new item never offered a repaired item. I have never received a phone call back from the company and will probably have to go elsewhere to get 4 more blinds to replace the ones that were defected. I WOULD NOT recommend this company to anyone. They do not get back with you when promised and it is completely asinine to expect a customer to accept repaired blinds when you are purchasing something new. I was never informed that if something was defected it would be repaired in lieu of being replaced. We chose Blinds.com due to a certain T.V./ Radio commentator who raved about their blinds. For spending the amount of money that we did it completely stinks the way they have treated and handled this matter.They apparently do not stand behind their product!

I had questions about replacement parts and they answered me right away. I was very surprised with the responsiveness of my concern.

The gentleman that measured and installed the blinds was both timely and professional. He fit me in very quickly and with little notice. The blinds look great.

The blinds.com website is very easy to use. It has picture galleries of the different kinds of blinds, a wide choice of colors, and information about blind construction and options. I have bought blinds from blinds.com for almost all the windows in my house. I chose the bottom-up/top-down option, which means the blinds can be lowered from the top as well as raised from the bottom. When partly lowered from the top, I can see the trees and sky, but not the neighbors. I am very satisfied with the whole experience.

THE COMPANY'S SERVICE WAS ACCEPTABLE. I WOULD STEER CLEAR OF THE BLINDS.COM GENERIC PRODUCT AND STICK WITH A NAME-BRAND SUPPLIER WHICH THIS COMPANY REPRESENTS. I INITIALLY ORDERED THE BLINDS.COM GENERICS BASED ON WHAT I ULTIMATELY FELT WAS A MISLEADING PRODUCT DESCRIPTION ON THE WEBSITE WHICH DESCRIBED THE PRODUCT AS COMPARABLE TO HUNTER- DOUGLAS BLINDS. DELIVERY WAS PROMISED WITHIN 7 BUSINESS DAYS, BUT I HAD TO WAIT MUCH LONGER. WHEN THE GENERIC BRAND ARRIVED, THEY WERE DAMAGED AND NOT COMPARABLE TO HUNTER-DOUGLAS. ALTHOUGH IT IS NOT THE COMPANY'S POLICY, BLINDS.COM DID AGREE TO TAKE BACK THE ORIGINAL 'GENERIC' ORDER AND REPLACE IT WITH HUNTER-DOUGLAS AS LONG AS I PAID THE DIFFERENCE IN PRICE...WHICH I DID. THE HUNTER-DOUGLAS PRODUCT IS EXCELLENT. and WAS DELIVERED ON A TIMELY BASIS. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY FOR NAME BRAND PRODUCTS, BUT WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEIR BLINDS.COM GENERIC COMPANY PRODUCT LINE.
