Work the company did was ok, but some of their subcontractors did sub quality work that had to be redone. Their painters left our water hose on twice which led to a pretty big water loss. The bill showed they cleaned the A/C evaporator coil and we later found out they didn’t. It took multiple trips by our A/C company trying to figure out why our AC couldn’t cool the house during the hot months. Finally discovered the coils were filthy with soot! Even after presenting BMC with the photo evidence, they did not admit fault or offer to reimburse us for having to get the coils deep cleaned.

I had Blackmon Mooring replace my roof and perform other repairs and have had constant problems since. Now I am having a real roofing and construction company come out and do the job correctly. The problem with that is it will cost me $1500.00 because the job wasn't done correctly in the first place. I specifically told them that I had three locations that needed special attention and pointed those out so they could take care to insure these locations were addressed. They failed miserably! Once they "completed" the roof I had to have them come back out twice. Once because they didn't seal the soffit, another time because they failed to put a roof jack in place for one of the waste vent pipes. Instead they just put shingles over the opening which is improper and voids the warranty on the shingles. I was the one that found both of these issues and had to tell them about it. I refused to make the final payment until these issues were repaired. They chose to put a mechanics lean on my home even though they had not completed the work. Within 18 months I had leaks in two of the locations I specifically told them to be aware of. I have repaired the interior water damage twice. It is now apparent that if the roof is not properly repaired I will continue to have issues in these locations. The new roofing company has explained how these locations were done improperly. The new roofing company is a GAF President's Club award winner so I have confidence in their assessment of the improper installation by Blackmon mooring. Save yourself a lot of headaches. Find anyone else to do your work.

They did a good job. They were very helpful and professional and did whatever I asked of them. They were on time and clean and I am pleased with them. I will use their services again.

I was very pleased with the service. They moved the furniture and placed it back with pads under the feet.

They were thorough and professional. They cleaned up behind themselves and asked if I was satisfied with the work. Can't really ask for much more than that. My house is almost 40 years old but I've lived here for less than 6. The a/c unit is 15 years old. I had them do all the extras including the sporicide since we has some black stuff accumulating on some registers. The pictures are before and after of the evaporator coil.

I am only giving BM 1 star because 0 is not an option. My situation was very similar to others who posted about their experience. My belongings were treated poorly and were damaged. The crew also used the wash room and left it in the same condition as Ann K's (Yelp). It is not my job to clean up urine and flush toilets after grown men who are working in my home. They hot glued the carpet onto my spiral stair case which started coming off that same day. They didn't cover the mattress or other fabric covered furniture pieces and now they must all be discarded. They damaged the freshly painted walls and left hand prints behind. They repeatedly left the front door open and I have pets. It got to the point that I had to lock the door, carry the key with me and escort them to the door when they needed to go out. They also took 2 hour lunch breaks and smoked in my front yard. The project was left unfinished. The project manager was terrible about communicating with me and the work crew that he out-sourced. The carpet guys showed up not knowing what they were supposed to do. The PM never came out to check the progress of the job until I insisted. HIs manager came with him and he was rude and condescending. He reluctantly agreed to clean the damaged items, re-paint and re-do the stairs. Initially I agreed but decided that I would rather pay someone else to re-do the project. If they did such a crappy job the first time I highly doubt they would do any better when they weren't getting paid extra. Before they started work, I also asked for an estimate to replace all of the wood trim around my exterior windows. This is a BIG project and would have been very lucrative for the company. Apparently, they didn't want the business because they couldn't be bothered to get a bid to me. Overall, this is the most unprofessional service company that I have ever had in my home.

Great, pricy, but excellent job.

Other than showing up later than scheduled, the service was excellent. Furniture that could be moved was and several areas that I thought needed a second try were done without hesitation. The two guys that were here were very professional.

I've used them for years. They're very good. They're reputable and like every time they have a special on I'll use them not every time but when I need it I would whether special on or not to take them up on a special.



They're perfect I have never had a complaint with them.

Blackmon Mooring was supposed to repair water damage resulting from a bathroom tub leak, which had been leaking for a long time.. Quality of the repair work was extremely poor.  Wood that was damaged by leaking water over a long period of time was not replaced.  This wood  that should have been repaired was not.  Very low quality workmanship that is having to be redone by another contractor.  The supervisor promised on two occasions made to come view the problems were missed -  he never even bothered to call and state he would not be there.  Other supervisors never bothered to return calls.

Appointment setup was quick and easy. The workers called ahead, arrived on time, and were very professional and friendly.  They did offer an extra service which was cleaning of the plenum which required cutting a hole in the metal to access ($150 extra that I opted not to do), but did not push the extra sale.  They completed the work timely and efficiently and had all the necessary equipment to do the job properly and covered furniture near the vents with plastic.  FYI I had the air ducts "cleaned" about 20 years ago by a different company and all they did was wipe down the registers and stick a vacuum hose a couple of feet into the ducts....worthless and a waste of money.  This time Blackmon Mooring used a high pressure air hose with agitator which reached way up through the duct work to blast out dust buildup that occurred over the years and had a big suction hose to suck it out of the house and back to their truck.  While I'm not sure how necessary or often one should clean the duct work, they did get quite a bit of dirt out of the ducts so I'm glad I did it. I have an older house built in 1968 which has the old metal duct work which apparently keeps itself relatively clean, but over many years some buildup occurs.  I highly recommend these guys if you decide to have any duct cleaning done as they are professional and have the proper equipment that other companies may not have.

They were very professional, they came in and did the work, and gave a reasonable price. They did a great job. They were the second estimate I got for this work and their price was very good compared to the other company that gave me an estimate.
