Best Appliance Repair

He was very late and he price gouged me. My refrigerator went out on me ten months ago and we called this guy for repairs. He quoted me a price, he also brought his son and he was messy. He claimed to be with the better business bureau, but at the time I did not check the validity of that claim. He changed the part out and then he gave me a price quote of three hundred and fifty dollars. He had left the part here and I went online to check the price. It turned out to be a eighteen to thirty dollars piece of equipment. I called him to tell him that I had stopped the check and he threatened me by saying that he would com,e over and remove the part. I had to call the police on this guy. He is a very large guy so I was intimidated by him. I told all my neighbors about him. Anyway I called the police on him. In fairness I paid him an amount of money but he still kept harassing me at work, he kept on calling me asking "What are you trying to pull here? When I 'googled' him, I found out all sorts of stuff about him. I ended up paying him two hundred dollars, just because I wanted him off my back. I put his check in a letter on my door and he never returned. I still sent it to him. He was very late first off, I kept calling him. I said that I would get somebody else to do it but he said that he was on his way. He left the place messy, he had brought his son and was trying to teach him how to do the job. He also shouted at his son and this should have been a sign to me. I wish I had told him to go then and there. He took out the defrost heater which was twenty eight dollars, and the defrost thermostat, which was eight dollars. So it cost thirty five dollars and he wanted to charge me close to three hundred dollars. I called somebody and they said that I should stop the payment on that check. I'm going to be honest he did do the work, but he gouged me. When I said that I would call the police he said "Why do you people think blacks are afraid of the police?" I said "Most people respect them."I went down there to pay him and he was not even in the same business park that he said he was in. He also changes his name a lot.
