Beautiful Hardwood Floors

Eduardo recommended, in addition to replacing the damaged wood, that all of the wood floors be completely sanded, stained and refinished. The finished floors look great. During the project Edwardo and his team took the time to protect other areas of the house from dust and debris. In addition, the project was completed in less time that originally estimated. We highly recommend Beautiful Wood Floors for any wood floor project.

The floors look better than new, and since we had one of the floors done 10 years ago, we can attest that the finish really holds up.

Arrived as scheduled. Very knowledgeable. Took some moisture tests and provided several alternatives on how to properly repair.Provided a estimate of the repair cost. I advised that I probably would offer the buyer a credit. He refused to be paid for the estimate. But I insisted he be paid for his time. Will call him for my next hardwood installation

We pulled up the carpet in a secondary bedroom and found very damaged wood floors underneath. We contacted Professional Floors (based on their Angie's List reports) to get their advice on whether the wood floor could be saved or if new flooring would need to be laid over it. Eduardo and Cris arrived on time, looked at the floor and told us they could restore it. They measured and gave us separate price quotes for refinishing the existing floor and for laying new laminate/wood over the existing floor. We told them we would think about it and call them back. We chose to restore the original floors and made an appointment for the same week. They showed up on time again and finished the work in about 8 hours. They sanded the floor down to bare wood, prepped it, refinished it with a dark stain to hide spots that did not come off in sanding, sealed it, added trim molding, and cleaned up after. We didn't think the floor could be saved and we were stunned at how beautiful it looked when Eduardo and Cris were finished. That room now has the best floor in the house. Do: Leave a message when you call. They will call back, usually the same day.

They came on time to take measurements but never came back with estimate. They also told me they don't remove the carpeting once they've taken it up to put down floors. They leave it with the homeowner for disposal. As well they weren't able to put in baseboards to finish the hardwood floor installation.

Work was done extremely well in my Houston Heights home. It was done over a $1,000 less than the 3 other bids that I got and I am assured that the work was done just as well, if not better than the more expensive companies. Chris and Eduardo were great!

Eduardo and his crew are excellent at their jobs; I have used them in the past and have never been disappointed. They are the most professional contractors that I have ever come across. They always call back in a timely manner, and they always show up when they say they will.

They even came back out to install some custom trim on very short notice to get it done. This was a HUGE help, that I don't think any other company could have completed. They did a good job, and I would use them again in the future.

Eduardo met me at the house on a Monday night and gave me a quote per sq. ft. His assessment of the job was very professional and thorough. I requested the earliest start date and he scheduled me for the following Monday. Eduardo and his crew met me at the house that following Monday as planned. He said that they would remove the old shoe molding, sand, stain, install new shoe molding and apply the first coat of Polyurethane the first day, which they did. The second day they applied the final coat of Polyurethane. He made sure that I was aware that no traffic should be allowed on the floor for about 48 hours after the final coat. The floors and Eduardo and his crew far exceeded our expectations. They also left the house clean.

JOB #1: Eduardo came over & gave me an estimate on the work. The area was prone to humidity & Eduardo had to come back several times to check the humidity levels. After about 5-6 visits over a period of 3 weeks he suggested that the area would not be conducive to the installation of wood flooring, due to the high humidity levels. I can t thank him enough for his honesty & diligence in this rather small job prospect. He always showed up when he said he would & always called when he said he would. JOB #2: I was on a trip, and although I had extensive communication with Eduardo in the past, I did most of the coordination over the phone. They arrived early in the morning, and when I got in around noon the sanding was completely done and they were in the process of starting the refinishing process. Everything was wrapped up in one day the floors looked absolutely fabulous.
