The breakers on our 38 year old power panel were failing. We had no hot water since the breaker for the hot water heater was bad and we were beginning to have other electrical issues related to a worn out power panel. Alberto came out on the weekend and worked in 100 degree heat for over four hours to replace the power panel and breakers. Excellent service in every way! This was my second time to use Backup Electric and I will not hesitate to call Alberto in the future.

Albert Martinez is a young gentleman who knows his business. Albert came out on a Saturday and replaced the breaker after he determined that we had the correct gauge wiring for a 50 amp breaker. He then went into the attic and disconnected a plug outlet that is not supposed to be in the attic and then rec-connected the attic venting fan and doorbell transformer. I highly recommend Backup Electric because 1. His service was great. 2. He explained exactly what was needed. 3. The cost for work was very fair.

Alberto came out on time and got right to work. He diagnosed the problem and told me what to order on Amazon. He initially did not want to charge because he repaired nothing. I made him give me a price for his time and mileage. Great to see good customer service!

They showed when they said they would. It was right after Harvey so everything was harder to get done but they made time for my small job. Also, I didn't have the necessary box installed for them to attached the ceiling fan to, but they accommodated me and install a new box and switch on the spot. I really appreciated that.

Excellent! Very professional, prompt, reasonable price & most important of all quality work. They performed all of this work in less than the estimated time (~4 hrs). They labeled the panel and then after auditing all the switches, performed troubleshooting on an inactive switch & outlet & were able to repair them quickly. Albert & his assistant were very thorough and cleaned up both the inside & outside of the house. They exceeded our expectations. If I could score on my own, they would have an A+.

Alberto came on time. Ask for a photo one day in advance to prepare all required materials and complete the work as planned. He also helped us check the electrical output in the house one-by-one to make sure all of them are functional. Very patient and very nice and very easy to communicate. Excellent service

It went really well! I worked with Alberto, he was very thorough testing everything, tightening all connections and wrapping the wires as requested by the report. He also explained everything to me and sent me a report to send to our buyer. I would use Backup Electric again and recommend them as well!

Albert showed up on the dot at 9:00am per schedule. He assembled and installed the fan in just over 1 hour. The job was professionally executed. My wife very happy when she flipped switches for the fan and lights and they both worked. No adjustments or rework needed. Albert was courteous, prompt and professional. I would not hesitate hire him again if I have electrical work.
