ASHLEY FURNITURE HOMESTORE

Went in to buy furniture to replace our old furniture. We initially went in for a leather couch and a recliner. When we settled on a recliner sofa and a recliner chair we thought all was well. Were we ever mistaken. The nightmare was just beginning. We had delivery problems in scheduling and then when they delivered the FIRST sofa, it was broken and we had to go through their repair department to schedule someone to come out and verify that it actually was BROKEN. Then when they delivered the 2nd sofa, it too was broken and the delivery man called the company to argue our case. We decided against any other sofa and then the BIGGEST surprise of all reared its ugly head. Once Ashley has your money, THEY HAVE YOUR MONEY! No refunds and so we had to shop for something we could use with the money we had already given Ashley. BIGGEST ripoff going! We will never set foot in an Ashley store, much less buy anything from them. AND the 3rd sofa that we opted out to is broken and we just despise dealing with Ashley's at all. So, we got took!

We have bought stuff from Ashley before, but this will be the last!

I went in looking for a bedroom set and some small add on pieces for my living room.  I normally tell people I am just looking but when greeted and asked how they could help it was friendly so I asked if they could point me to the different styles I was looking for and then I would kind of like to just look and compare.  They did just that and did not hover until I went to them with questions.  It was a very pleasing shopping experience especially as it was the third place I had been that day and getting tired.  Hat's off to the team there and will be back.

They had the mattress in stock but not the bed frame. They called me to say the bed frame would be in at the beginning of July and around then I called so we could set up the delivery date. They confirmed that they had everything and what time they would be. The delivery guy came late and he had pieces for a king bed and pieces for a queen bed. He said he could leave the king pieces and someone else could bring the other pieces at another time but I told him to take it all back. I called to get a refund but they put me on the phone for forever. I went down to the store to ask for a refund because of the delay of the product, the fact that the driver didn?t show up on time, and the fact that all of the pieces didn?t come. The price and the quality of the product were good but I would never go back there. They don?t get a second chance with me because their customer service on the phone was horrible.
