Oscar showed me where the pipe was leaking and explained what he was doing when he replaced it with new Pex piping. He answered other plumbing questions from the "what's that do" to more detailed questions and pointed out other issues concerning our water heater that will be addressed later. It was a pleasure having him fixing our issue.
"Thank you for taking time to post a review of your experience with our company! I am so sorry to hear that you did not feel you received the highest quality of service! The fact that your unit was low on Freon is indicative of a leak somewhere in the unit. The A/C unit should never leak/lose Freon. The problem is, Freon can leak from multiple places (e.g. the coil, copper lines, etc). We charge for an electronic leak search because it requires the technician's professional training and equipment. The call was a free estimate, per our company policy, and no work was performed. Please let us know if you have any other questions regarding your service! We are happy to help!"
My husband questioned the charge, as it was high given the scope of work. The technician stated he had to go by the company's established pricing. He also offered a T.E.A.M. Agreement for inspection & evaluation of all of our plumbing & H.V.A.C. units at a cost of $274.99, which would give us a discounted charge of $250.00 for the faucet replacement if we bought it then. We bought the agreement (total with repair was $524.99), & he stated someone would contact us to set up the evaluation visit. We've heard nothing from the company to date.
In the future, I would certainly get a quote & do some comparison shopping with other providers, if possible. In this case, we needed a working faucet & it was early evening when the technician finally arrived, so I felt I had little choice but to proceed.
After requesting an estimate Jason arrived at our house, and never sent the estimate.
We called 2 additional time, and still did not receive the estimate. I should've known to stop trying at this step, but we were in a jam and needed a shower valve replaced same day.
When called again in a second attempt for a simple shower valve replacement, Jason showed up but told us to wait until the tile was finished to replace the valve (in the wall being tiled...?)....which made no sense to me, or the other contractors present.
He also wanted to open the Moen box with the valve in it "to understand what valve I was talking about" and viewed the box with the valve in it as if it was completely unrelated. He then proceeded to raise his voice to me about how I had no idea what I was talking about and how he had already been to our house and sent an estimate so he didn't understand why I was wasting his time.
Since my confidence was lost in his response, I told him I was disappointed it wasn't going to work out and to please leave.
I called the company to try and get a different representative to provide the work we required, however the operator then informed me that our address was on the "red flag" list. I requested to speak with the manager - and turns out Jason is the Manager. Fantastic!
I couldn't think of a more horrible experience!
Call anyone else you can, save yourself the hassle.
I was thoroughly impressed, and will call them without hesitation for all of my future plumbing needs.
wound up getting a whole new tolet put in after talking to the service man.
he explained all options and did a great job installing toilet.
he cleaned up well.
this year i had a leak in the attic.
Aramendia came out showed me the book of prices.
seem high at $525.00 for one small hole in copper pipe.
but he did work with in 1 1/2 hours and gave me a 90 day guarentee.
He was polite, clean and professional.
