Appliance Cowboys

It has been a couple years since my washer or dryer underwent any maintenance and I'd rather spend money sooner than have something break down later. I've used Appliance Cowboys before for a refrigerator, so when they quoted a $149 general maintenance fee for both the washer & dryer, I said yes. Marco also noted that the dryer latch wasn't allowing the dryer to shut off when the door opened and eventually the dryer wouldn't work at all when the door closed. He had the part with him completed the work to my absolute satisfaction. He took time to explain everything he checked for wear, "lubed" as needed, and cleaned out the recesses of the dryer vent.

It went well, he came out to look at my dishwasher. He mentioned that the pan was rusted through, which was causing the dishwasher to leak. Turns out this wasn't at all the case, it was just overflowing. Although he was incorrect about that, he did fix the ice maker in my refrigerator without charging me.

Went fine. The technician was timely, polite, professional and competent. I was extremely happy with their services and will use them again. I am very late posting this review, so the date and exact amount of cost is inaccurate. I do know, however, that I did not believe their cost to be out of line with the services.

They were wonderful, professional and friendly. We bought our Kenmore double ovens from Sears. However, when the oven arrived it was the wrong size. It was too small inside and would not fit a nice size turkey. Before the oven was unpacked, these gentlemen came inside and measured the existing space and suggested that we get a bigger oven. Following their wonderful advice, we were able to refuse delivery and go back to Sears and order a bigger oven. Originally, when we ordered the oven, the store did not have a floor model and we were not sure what size to get. Part of the problem was that the previous GE oven was old and the manufacturer had changed specifications and sizes. After the new oven arrived, we were able to re-schedule delivery and these wonderful, strong men installed our new double oven.

They did a good job. It was great. It took them an hour and they were reasonably priced. Everything was fine. They guy knew exactly what was wrong and fixed it up.

They responded in good time, went straight to work and were done in very little time. They were professional, but I found that their pricing for the job was a little on the high side, compared to others. My washer has had no problems since they took care of that problem.

My experience with him was pretty good. He showed up on time. I think he did the best he could with the refrigerator that was provided. He fixed it for the time being. I found that he was perfectly professional. I don't know necessarily if he went above and beyond but he fixed the refrigerator which is what we really asked for. He checked another appliance that I asked and that was about it. He was efficient and got the job done. He communicated thoroughly which was important to me. They communicated and made sure what I needed ahead of time when they were coming. They gave me the thirty minute window that they promised, call wise which some don't. Their price was about typical.

The interaction was great. They had good reviews so I used them.

Appliance Cowboys were actually really great. Their prices were competitive and they cleaned up after themselves. They arrived on time and they had appointments that were available immediately supposedly if we have a broken washer. They were able to come out very expeditiously so we didn't have to go to a laundry mat. They have appointments readily available, showed up on time and they didn't have to come back. I described to them what the problem was and they didn't even have to come back. Their pricing was competitive and fair.

It went well, he diagnosed and fixed my washer promptly. Washer runs great. Wonderful service.

Marco showed up within his window (only 1 hour long!!) and immediately began to service my stove. After about 20 minutes he had a diagnosis. Unfortunately he did not have the part I needed on hand, but he did locate it and tried to come back later the same day. Schedule could not fit so he came back the next day and quickly finished the job. I am very thankful to have found Appliance Cowboys and will definitely use them again if needed.

Replaced, and not 24hrs later it started making a LOUD noise I can only compare to the sound of a leaf blower. Called that morning, and dispatcher said tech would call me back, did not this was on a Sat. Could not coincide schedules on Mon. Called office on Tues. but tech. did not call back Tues., no call on Wed., finally I called back on Thurs. (a week to the day after 1st initial call) FINALLY got a response. Tech. called back and said he would be out on Fri. Came out and took a second look, thought it could be the freezer fan cover, adjusted, he left, noise started up AGAIN. I called later that same day, tech said he couldn't be there till Mon. Came out on Mon. a.m., replaced the fan motor part, hopefully that will take care of the problem. |Needless to say I AM NOT A HAPPY customer :((. I feel this could have been something that was caused as direct result of possibly a defective part. |The tech. was nice, and courteous enough, but the response time was just not (in my opinion) great. I do understand that I am NOT their only customer, but to loose sleep for 10 days due to a poor response time left an "unhappy customer" feel.

Workman could not recreate the problem, which had been intermittent. Ran water from hose at full pressure to try to clear any potential blockages.

I called to tell them about the problem I was having with my double oven and wanted to make an appointment. After describing the problem to the repairman on the phone, he was honest and let me know that the oven sounded like it could not be repaired and would need to be replaced.

They were good and offered to come out if I needed any kind of adjustment. They fixed it but the repair didn’t last. I ended up getting a new refrigerator due to the age of refrigerator.

Technician did a cursory look at the cooktop. He told me that it would require new regulators and sparking units, and that since the oven below would need to be taken out to complete the repair, he would require another technician, and the repair would take 30 minutes more than the allotted time for the deal. I noted that I had installed the oven myself, by myself, and would be happy to remove it before he returned so that he could concentrate on the work at hand. I asked for an itemized quote for the additional labor and a detailed bill of materials, with part numbers, before I decided on continuing. It took a follow-up call two weeks later before Appliance Cowboys provided the quote. I chose not to continue with the repair. Since that time, CenterPoint has coincidentally had to replace my gas meter. This has partially alleviated the performance issues with this cooktop, which leads me to believe that Appliance Cowboys' original diagnosis was at least partially incorrect. I will investigate other possible causes (gas line pressure deficiency, for example) for these issues before I have somebody start playing "parts replacer" with my cooktop.

Showed up on time and provided good service. No problems with machine since

Advised the Technician that the microwave was built-in prior to the service call and provided model number. When he arrived he said it would require two technicians as a matter of company policy and cost approximately $200 even though a Comparable bulb was available at Home Depot for $3.00.

Replaced a heating element. Did not check to see if oven was at right temperature.

Balanced machine and still vibrated. Determined problem. I decided to replace instead of repair.

Service/ quality/ professionalism all top notch- no complaints. I highly recommend this company and will use them again.

It worked out very well. I used the coupon right away. The guy did me a big favor and told me that I needed to contact the company that sold the appliance to me. I could have paid him to fix the whole thing but he told me that this has gotta be covered under warranty so he actually saved me money. I really was very pleased with his honesty. He had to yank the stove from a very narrow place. He was just very helpful. I recommended him to the other person that bought the house.

Marco from Appliance Cowboys diagnosed the problem immediately and was prepared with the necessary parts. He answered all my questions and was very professional and personable. I was prepared for the whole "parts are on order" thing but it didn't happen. The whole thing took about 20 minutes and I was catapulted back into the 21st century with refrigerated food!
