Apex was great from start to finish. We got a great quote, the Apex team communicated so well, even telling us the day the windows started production to the day they arrived for installation. The windows themselves are beautiful and we can already tell a difference in how cool it is in the house compared to when we had single panes windows. We even had a minor issue during install where 1 window arrived with a broken frame and one was made too large for the window frame. Apex resolved the problem immediately and had the replacement windows in production within a week. They also had a number of different financing options so we could find a payment plan that fit us our budget. I highly recommend this company.

On Tuesday morning Apex came and replaced the original single pane windows in our 1974 home. I had planned to be out of the house but one of my two children caught a bug and we decided to stick around. Not ideal to have tiny feet running around during a major project like this. I could not have been more thankful for the awesome team at Apex. They took care making sure any tools and debris were out of reach of the little hands. It was noticed and appreciated. I don't think I've ever had people working on our home that would take the time to continuously engage the boys. The peak was definitely watching the crew smile and wave "hello" and "goodbye" to Adam every time they were coming and going. The pride and care the installers took in the job was noticed not only by myself but my neighbors that began approaching them and commenting on the job. The last hour before leaving I noticed them going through and carefully inspecting each window, cleaning and touching up spots I didn't even notice. The crew finished up yesterday afternoon and I couldn't be more excited about how they turned out. I would definitely recommend them. After living with these windows for 24 hours I wish I would have done it sooner. Cheers to not surviving another Houston summer with single pane windows! Thank you Apex!!

Very good experience from the sale to installation. No pressure to buy. The work crew was fantastic. The foreman, George, was professional, courteous, and very thorough. They cleaned after the work was done and made sure we were happy with the work before they left. The windows look great and are of very good quality! I would not hesitate to recommend them.

It all went great. The installation was done in one day, they worked very fast and all the windows work as advertised. They look great even on the old house. We were worried our house would lose some of its charm, but we would do it all over again in a heartbeat. I strongly recommend Apex.

I was dreading replacing a few windows in my house but Apex made the process easy.  From William who explained their triple-pane products without making me feel stupid or trying to put on a "pressure sales pitch", to the gentlemen who expertly measured my windows to ensure a tight fit, and to Jose and the entire installation team who installed four large picture windows while balancing on very high ladders for two of them.  I was very pleased with the entire process.  My house is now cooler and I've noticed a decrease in my electric bills.  I would not hesitate to contact Apex Energy Solutions for your window needs. 

Everything looks great. Windows made a huge difference in temperature control in several parts of the house. Have received several compliments on how good the windows look. The only thing that happened during install was our kitchen sink faucet was bent. But they ordered a new faucet immediately and took care of replacing/installing it. Great customer service!

I think it?s important to first discuss how difficult this decision is to make, mainly because math alone doesn't justify the decision to purchase new windows for your home. The best source I found for unbiased info was, http://www.efficientwindows.org. The resources and information tab had enough studies and calculation methodologies for savings to expect and costs that should be paid. It also discusses all the emotional factors that I was feeling during the decision making process.
I compared Apex?s value to Simonton?s and Anderson?s and Apex won me over mainly because their Alside 3 pane window was price competitive with the others 2 pane windows. I consider their quality and warranty equal or better then other high end windows.
Finally, this was a significant investment which included 43 vinyl double hung windows most of which are custom, larger windows, several of which have eyebrow tops. Using the tools recommended on efficientwindows.org and price comparing are the steps that need to be taken to ensure you?re getting the best value. Dealing with the emotional side of the decision is the really hard part. 
Working with Apex and Alside was a great experience from start to finish.  I dealt with Jimmy from Apex and Brian from Alside and both were great, straight forward and honest.  I was really concerned about the installation and how the windows would look after they were installed.  The installation crew was awesome and did a tremendous job working with our schedule, cleaning up their mess each day and finished product looks terrific.  Thanks for everything!

     I want to tell you great things about your windows!   We have lived here for 7 years.  The house was built in 1968 and it need lots of improvement since day one!  We did many things in these 7 years....kitchen completely redone....all new flooring...new front door...knocked down walls...re-stoned bar and fireplace...new garage....covered patio....and 6 windows facing the back yard.  So I think I can say with confidence we know how to remodel a house and how much effort in timeliness and cleanliness and satisfied customer.....I was exceptionally pleased on the timeliness of the crew.  I was notified by phone as soon as the paperwork was filed that measurements needed to be taken. The gentleman was accommodating to my schedule and he showed up on time and was least intrusive as possible...We homeschool so having people in my home is concerning any time of day.  He was done quickly and I appreciate that.  I received another phone call 3 weeks later that the windows were ready to be installed.  At my convenience they scheduled with me told me exactly what time they would arrive and to please move window treatments and furniture 3 feet away from all windows being replaced.  They showed up right on time and to my amazement all 11 windows were installed ALL in ONE day!!!!
We decided to keep the 6 windows facing the back yard that we installed years ago and BOY what a difference in quality and ease of use! I can definitely appreciate APEX even more.
For Christmas this year, I decorated my windows and the APEX windows are far easier to work with because I can lower and open from the inside the upper window!!! I showed my daughter how to do one and she did the others...she is 18 and 100 lbs...she had no problems.

We live 4 streets away from a train and I haven't heard that BLASTED horn for weeks now!!!  We also had a thunderstorm a few night ago and my husband got up to make coffee in the morning realizing it rained and he slept thru the night not knowing it rained... Our old aluminum windows never let us escape the outside noises from dogs barking to rain and of course that train 3 times a day.  I SO wish we had done the windows first....of all the remodeling we have done.....we should have done this first.  
I am closely watching my electric bill because with sound being blocked my sure the bill will be blocked from high prices too.
It was a great day the day we had these windows installed....It gave our house a face lift making it look like we just painted!!!  The best part is I have always had a set of blinds on the window over the kitchen sink...even though I hated them but the evening sun always barreled in while I was cooking...I guess I didn't realize how much I was compromising in my own home.  When the APEX windows were installed I hadn't noticed until the next day that the sunshine wasn't blinding me while at the kitchen sink even though we hadn't put the blinds back up.....I still haven't put those awful blinds back up.  The subtle tint is perfect.
I would highly recommend these windows to any homeowner.

Due to the fact that the window damaged was a custom size, we will have to wait a bit for install, but I believe that Apex (Jimmy & William) will handle it as quickly as they can.

GREAT! GREAT! GREAT!First, Sales call was phenomenal due to William Powers. Helped me understand the windows, the company and the process. Great guy and very personable. Second, the financing was great due to Christine who worked with me to understand the process. Even after they lost the financer, due to new requirements, and the other financer changed names...the ordeal was made easy by the diligence of Christine.Last but not least, Jorge and his crew were unbelievable...both installs were handled professionally, timely and with excellent quality. The house is 40 years old but even this fact did not diminish the installation. I specifically demanded these gentlemen be on the next install.Problems were all over the place due to new company, new financing, old house and a real stickler (ME) to work for, and with all that against them, it was a very very good experience. I only wish they did more than windows since I have other projects that I would have them do.Sincerely, I rarely give glowing reviews, there is always something that bugs me but this company and their employees have left me with nothing but a very exceptional experience. The windows are already saving me money on electricity and they are very quiet.

Our sales person was very knowledgeable about the product, including the explanation of how the windows were assembled, etc.  The product sold itself, as we live in an area that is prone to hurricane weather and our biggest concern over the years has been protecting the interior of our home & our belongings.  In addition, because we live in Houston, the summer heat has taken it's toll on our electricity bill.  While we have a custom home, it and the windows are approximately 30 years old!  Our upstairs front windows have been an issue.  Since replacing them with the triple-paned windows, the temperature in each rooms appears to have dropped about 10 degrees.  Our guest room is noticeably cooler & our family that have visited in the past month noticed the difference.  One of our children also faces the front (morning sun) & has noticed that their room is much cooler also.  In addition, my parents noticed that they can't even hear anymore when someone is driving by, pulling in the driveway, etc., but that the light from the sun in the morning is much more filtered than in the past.  These windows surpass our expectations of what they would do.  We have a house that is primarily windows, each room has several, and we look forward to replacing the entire house.  The benefits include quietness, sun filtration and energy efficiency.  Because we were so pleased with the windows, we invested in a triple-pane front door.  Our house is quieter and cooler due to these changes.  I would definitely recommend these windows as an investment in your home.  They add value just by saving costs on cooling (heating if you are in the north, I believe).

I would not buy the windows again.  They do not provide noise reduction promised. 
Everyone along the process was extremely nice, and easy to work with.  I provided a D professionalism ranking because we were over promised.  Other than that, I would have given a B for professionalism.
We had an Apex salesman at our door last year.  We were considering replacing our windows so we listened.  The promotional price he offered was in the middle (on the high side) of the other two offers.  It was for triple pane windows, and we were comparing the prices to double pane.  We decided not to go with any windows at the time.  We were very clear with the salesman that we wanted the windows primarily for noise reduction.  The other companies quoted us a vague 30% - 40% noise reduction (based on what their customers say), which wasn?t sufficient for the money we were going to spend.  Our salesman came back  ~ 1 month after we told him no with a free upgrade to krypton filed windows and a guarantee that we wouldn?t hear our neighbor?s dog.  He even agreed to put it as a note in the contract. 
We have noticed very little, if any noise reduction.  While the windows are very nice we would never have spent money replacing our windows that we didn?t feel the noise would be significantly reduced. Allside was the installation company.  However, they too were a pass through company.  They subcontracted their work to Guiza Renovation.   
Tip ? the removal is much messier than we could have predicted.  The dust, grit, dry wall, etc floats through your house and gets on everything.  Make sure the installers put a tarp inside each window keeping some  of the particles from floating into your house.

The process went well.  Had to learn more than I wanted to know about windows but like anything there are details to learn.
Overall it went very well and the big difference to note is that these are triple pane windows.  Most installers in this area do double pane so these will likely cost a bit more.  Definitely notice a difference in the house but they were replacing old single pane windows.  People are honest and the installation extremely professional.  They cut no corners on the install and did a first class job.

The sales person was extremely knowledgeable about the product and answered our questions wonderfully.  The installing crew was amazing.  Punctual, professional, actually quite a fun group to have in your home all day.  Explained everything to us, even came back the day after Christmas because we were having trouble with the door lock and now it is perfect!  I can't say enough about this company from start to finish.  We are so proud of the new look and are eager to learn how it will save us in energy costs.

Apex Energy Solutions has partnered with Alside Supply for over 25 years and is the official contractor/installer of Apex Energy Solutions Windows nationwide.  The custom windows were carefully measured, ordered, and delivered 7 weeks later as promised.  Days prior to arrival, the contractor sent an email and left a phone message for the scheduled installation.  The installers were punctual, professional, efficient, considerate, courteous, and very careful to protect furniture, floors, and outdoor shrubbery.  Windows were delivered Monday afternoon and prepared for installation the next morning.  Work began Tuesday morning and was completed by Wednesday evening.  The process involved, protecting furniture/floors, removal  of  the old windows, cleaning out the opening, installing the new window, calking/sealing the frames, and final cleanup.  My father was a building contractor years ago so I have the advantage of recognizing good quality materials and workmanship.  The quality of work is exceedingly superior.  The quality of the windows surpasses all expectations.  One window was inadvertently damaged during shipment  and the contractor made note and placed an order the same day for the replacement, which arrived as scheduled and was installed in minutes.  Again, days prior to arrival, the contractor sent an email and left a phone message for the scheduled replacement.  It doesn't get any better than this. 

We are so pleased with the windows.  With the single pane windows, in the past we noticed rooms exposed to sun or shade varied a few degrees in room temperature...now with the new triple pane windows the temperature is constant in every room of the house, and much quieter.  I regret not having purchased these windows sooner and rest assured, if my next home does not have thermal  efficient windows, I will unhesitatingly give Apex Energy Solutions a call for my next residence.
