We recently purchased an older home and wanted to ensure that there were no issues with the underground plumbing so we hired American Services to perform a hydrostatic test. Robert came out at the scheduled time and explained the process to us prior to starting the work. The team initially tried locating the line manually but after a few hours of digging in multiple locations we decided it would be best to use the electronic beacon to help locate the line. They came back the next day, located the line, installed a clean-out, and performed the test. Luckily, all our pipes were in good condition. Overall, American Services did a great job and we would consider hiring them for future work.

They were great. They got here right away and said hi then went straight to work. We received a quote for $400 some dollars and he was more more reasonable. He offered a discount for paying with cash. He was very efficient.

We do not normally write letters following work done to or repairs made on our home. The reason is very simple: we are usually not satisfied with the quality of work, the ultimate cost of the work, or the way the job site is left when the work is done. However, in the case of the foundation repair you and your company, American Services, made to our home, we have nothing but praise. We had 5 or so companies come to our home to bid on our foundation repair. Jay, you were the only person to volunteer to return when we had questions and spend additional time discussing the repair plan with us. This willingness to communicate continued throughout the job. You answered your phone every time we called or returned our calls quickly if you didn't answer immediately. After we selected you, the work started on time on the day it was scheduled to begin and continued through to completion. The workers on the crew at our home were polite, hard working, and reliable. Ernest, the on-site leader of the crew, was attentive to our questions and concerned about our satisfaction 100% of the time. At the end of the job, the crew cleaned the yard and washed the concrete to a level beyond our satisfaction. And, as we handed you the final check, Jay, you once again spent more time than you probably had to answer our last questions. “Beyond our satisfaction” is a phrase that I rarely use—but it describes our entire experience with you, your crew, and your company.

Overall, they were good. I would rate them highly.

Neat, clean on time and knew what they were doing. Replaced a rusted out leaking pipe, which required a gentle touch to not break other plumbing nearby. Used the correct thread treatment on the pipe being installed so that it would not leak, and installed new insulation to prevent freezing next winter. Done and gone in 1/2 an hour. Cost $100, which might seem expensive for the time, but they had all the right pieces with them on the truck and did not charge for the bits and pieces used.
Their website is all about foundation repair, yet they did plumbing work for me. Really it is a natural fit, because your plumbing begins under the house in the foundation or in the crawlspace, depending on what type of house you have. I haven't used them for foundation work, but their plumbing service call was good.

Robert was the master technician we worked with. This was somewhat of a difficult job and I couldn't have worked with a more professional group of plumbers and foundation specialists. They were always on time, very professional, and reasonable in their prices. Robert and his crew did a fantastic job and cleaned up the entire area after they were done. I highly recommend this company and I will definitely be a repeat customer for all my future plumbing or foundation repairs

Rick came out to meet with me and give the initial quote and then came back on a separate visit to meet with my husband and thoroughly explained all of the work in detail. The crew arrived by 9 am each morning, were polite, tidy and took care in moving items that needed to be moved for the interior and exterior work to be completed. The foundation repair and plumbing repair took approximately one week to complete and the house was left very clean, even though there had been two days of rain during their work. Rick or the crew supervisor always answered my calls immediately and were always willing to work with what we needed to have done. I was very pleased with the quality of the work and the people doing the work.

I think they were very thorough. The person who did the assessment, I thought he gave me an honest estimate. He even came back out a second time to give me a more accurate estimate. They were very polite and they did a great job. There were no problems and I thought they provided a good estimate.

American Services was referred to us by another plumbing company when it was discovered that we had broken drainage pipes under our foundation. Rick came out quickly to give us an estimate. The estimate he gave us was exactly what we were charged. During the process, he called several times to inform us of the progress being made. Before the process began, I was very concerned about the landscaping and patio behind our home being returned to its original state. They took this into consideration. His men were maticulous in making sure that everything was exactly as it had been before the project began. They were very professional. I would recommend this company to anyone needing underground plumbing repairs or foundation work. We own an older home and know that there is the possibility that we will have to have foundation repair in the future. American Services will definitely be the company we call on for this service.
