Great price, great people, and great product!!! I recently had American Screen and Window make a total of 13 aluminum framed pet screens of various sizes to cover one side of our small outdoor patio. Each screen was perfectly sized, very affordable, and the quality of each one was superb. I expect them to last a very long time. Also very quick turnaround. So glad I found them while Googling for a local screen maker. Kudos to Richard and his workers.

I was very happy with the whole process. We had someone come out to give an estimate. We booked their services, and they came back and installed our screens when they said they would. Everything looks great!

Richard was responsive by email when I asked about window screen repair service.  I was putting my home on the market and fixing a few screens was the right thing to do. 

It took me a long time to get around to doing it, but i called their shop and I was told to stop by - no appointment needed.  His shop is in a small business park, not hard to find once you know where to turn off 34th street.

Richard treated my VERY SMALL  job as important as a much bigger one.  He was personable and sent my screen back to his shop to be repaired while I waited.  We had a nice conversation and the job was completed in minutes.

My project was actually two visits, because I initially came for one screen repair and then found another one 4 weeks later (the date shown).  Richard was just as prompt, polite, and quick on the job.

I HIGHLY recommend his services for the type of work I needed - which should help a lot of homeowners who are on a budget.  I trust they would be excellent for large projects too.

Thank you Richard for your help - with all the small stuff I had to do to ready my home for sale, this repair was effortless.

I sent them a message and never heard from them. They either don't have enough staff or they don't need the work. If I'm outside of your area or there is a reason you cannot do the job, the professional thing to do is to make contact with me and explain. If you are on Angie's list you should be going to the site and checking your messages. Next...

After trying to call them several times, leaving several messages, I never heard back from anyone, never received a quote or a courtesy call to say whether or not what I wanted done was even possible - A customer shouldn't have to work so hard to be a customer.

Wanted screens on a few of the windows around the house so that we could get some air flow in without having bugs flying in. Initially was told they could do the quote without me being at the house. So set up a time for them to come by, but never heard from him. Took a few phone calls to finally get a hold of him and was told that he did need to come inside to do the measurements. Finally set up a time we could both be there. Was very professional and helpful when doing the measurements and answering all my questions. Had people come back the next week to install them. I like the screens, nothing fancy, but exactly what I needed.
Besides the non response after the initial contact, was very happy with the pricing and results. Would recommend to others and also use them again.

I would HIGHLY recommend this Company to anyone looking to have their window screen redone. The owners are Wonderful people and full of INTEGRITY! No hassling, just right to the point and professional. I wish there were more people supporting the River Oaks area of Houston that operated like this Company!!!

Richard Dawson came to our house initially and measured and gave us the estimate. He is great and so is the rest of his team.
the sliding screen door that they made especially for our back sliding glass door did not fit correctly and Richard ordered an entire new door at no cost. Their customer service is excellent and I highly recommend them.

We liked the product and we liked the work ethics of the people that were going to do the job. They have quality windows.

It went very well. The only thing was that they were late by one day.

PERFECT! They came out and measured, gave e the cost, then delivered the screens in a few days. Everything fit perfectly.

Richard came out and measured the windows and gave me a quotation. After making the 50% deposit, Richard came out to install the screens within a week. One of the screens didn't fit, so he went back to his shop and fixed it that same afternoon.

They did a beautiful job. I've now had them do all windows on S, E and W of my home with SOLAR SCREENS. They worked with me and my finances to do them the south side of the house last summer...and the east and west side this month. I like them a lot.....family company and they manufacture themselves - the type of company I prefer to support. Unlike my neighbors (used a different supplier) mine FIT Perfectly.

Very well. We were not home during the installation. They only needed to work on the outside of the house. They did the job as promised. They even fixed the little crack in our window sill. Everything looked great. We are happy with their work.
