Very responsive

The technician that looked at our ACunit told me the compressor failed and either the compressor our unit would need replaced. We have home owner insurance so due to the cost we scheduled our homeowners insurance company to do the actual repairs. They found a start capacitor obviously failed ( a part that cost just a few dollars) so American Air Services charged about $90 for the service call and fixed nothing and would have charged us thousands of dollars to replace the AC unit or compressor. We are out of state or I would have fix the unit my self but I trusted the technician from American Air Service to correctly determine the cause and fix it. These capacitors are a common failure item and the technician from my home owner insurance company had one on his truck and fixed the unit in less than a half an hour.

I was having problems with my zoned A/C and they were only one of three companies who knew how to fix it.

the professional that came out name was Jay. I am not sure if I loved Jay so much because he did an awesome job or because he did not try to rip me off! Jay was very professional and I would hire him again. I almost did not even let him in for the estimate because I was so disappointed in the information that I got from the first company. But this company will be called again in the future, if needed.

I found Chris the owner to be very thorough and I would recommend American Air Service to other people in need of air condition repair. He was polite and very nice.

Had Chris come out and look at my system. He was flexible, came out to see me right after his last project so that he could come that same day with short notice. He was very friendly and explained what and why he was doing every step of the way. He also gave good recommendations and pointed out some of the other issues I should watch out for and how I can prevent future issues. The price was more than reasonable, he was very friendly, eager to answer questions, and I highly recommend him.
