 + -1 moreI contacted Texas Fence Co.when I needed a replacement of my 20 year old fence. One of their consultants visited with me and I was impressed both with the scope of his experience and the quality and cost of the material and labor. Although the wait time was a bit long, once the team arrived to build my new fence, I knew it was worth the wait. The team was courteous, skilled and wasted no time in getting the demo of the old fence and the construction of the new fence underway. Now my new fence is up and I love it!

Description of Work: I called to set up an appointment and the receptionist asked me to call the salesman. She wanted to give me the number, but I was not able to take a written message. I told her I would call back at a better time. She did not ask me for my number. I did call back & was able to set up an appointment within a few days. The salesman came out on time, my husband told him what we needed. Ornamental iron fence with an electric gate across the front and 3 rail wood fence with 2x4 mesh lining the wooden sections. It's a $20,000 plus job. We never heard from them. We did not get any sort of proposal or follow up call. I'm not sure what to think about that.

 + -1 moreI submitted an estimate request via their website. Very quickly I was called by Roger Winn who is responsible for my area. Roger faxed me the estimate on 1/23/08. I faxed the signed agreement back on 2/8/08 and mailed Roger a down payment check. Over the next week flags marking the gas line, TV cable, etc. appeared in my yard. On 2/20/08, the existing fence was completely removed and the new posts were in place when I got home from work. On 2/21/08, the new fence was in place. I mailed a check for the balance to Roger who called me on the 25th or 26th to make sure I was satisfied. I like this company. This was the second fence I've bought from them.
Description of Work: Tore down & removed 210 ft. of my previous fence. The dogs that had been living next door had demolished one side of my old fence. I had replaced a dozen pickets myself & had nailed plywood along the bottom of other areas that were damaged by the dogs. All-Texas hauled away everything. Installed 210 feet of 6 foot cedar fence, new fence posts, a rot board along the bottom & one gate.

 + -1 moreThis situation was unique because this is a company that the seller hired as part of our agreement when buying the house. I agreed to pay for half of it and the seller would pay half, but we got to choose how we wanted it built. The fence guy was extremely fast, it took him only a few days to complete everything by himself!
Description of Work: All Texas Fence built a deck which is about 8 x 16 feet in my backyard for me, a fence that is 8 feet high and about 80 feet long around the side of the house toward the front. They also installed an iron gate across our driveway with a latch on it. The original deck that we had them build was more like 8 x 12 feet, but when they were done, we decided it was too small. They enlarged to our liking. The $2500 reflects the half of the bill that I paid. The total price was about $5000.
